Had the blues in Alabama
Had the blues in Texas too
Had the blues all over
Now I 'm givin' em to you
And if you don't want em
You know what you can do
You wont find me I'm goin' ta run and hide away from you
Because I see trouble
Trouble…

I’d been experimenting with Euclidean rhythms for a while when the modular synth plugin Bazille was released by u-he.com. They seemed like the perfect match.

Came up with this chord progression on the bass one day and hit record for the hell of it. Came back to it and decided to throw a quick lil melody over it. I think this is going to close out the "Just a minute?" playlist so I can move on to music…
Well I seem to have a few songs with dreams and oceans in them. But then I do live on the ocean.... and I do dream ... daydream. I bought a cheap yamaha acoustic guitar from a garage sale for $50 and decided to try recording a song with it. I…

In 1971, after working for Pima County facility maintenance and some air conditioning supply houses, Jerry Baker saw there would be a lucrative market in mobile home heating, air conditioning and service. One year later, Baker's Mobile Aire incorporated…
From the second CD. This composition was inspired by memories of a stream close to where I was raised in San Diego. We lived in University City, a new suburb from 1964 to 1978. It wasn't built up back then so you could walk to many canyons…
Comments on kavin.'s stuff
Ah, a wintry treat!
I missed this one too! Suhweet bluesy gem.
Man- this is cool as all hell! Missed this one of yours
Very nice Kavin! I am really digging this one, it doesn't need a thing :)
this is so beautiful as it is, think anything else would detract chappy. just great as it is
Excellent. I like it as it is!
Really cool how the auto swell backs up the mic'd track so well.
Very nice man. I say run one with a vocal and one without. Let the listener decide. ;)
Well , I say its a great track on its own. If you do a vocal upload so we can a/b them I like iT!
Beautiful guitar track, Kavin. Maybe whisper-y vocals with heavy reverb or just a subtle accompanying guitar might add just enough.
P.S. I don't know about "ruin" with a vocal part, probably not "ruin" but it does hold up nicely as is......just my penn'orth. Jarvo
I did not know ol' Gustav had written this ...very nice arrangement... Jarvo
Very enjoyable song. I'm always a sucker for acoustic guitar!
Thanks Kirk. One channel is dry miked guitar with SM57, one channel thru the DL4, auto volume swell setting.
Very pretty
Gorgeous! How did you get that effect on the guitar? Sounds like a second guitar with the attack time slowed down. Nice!
Great tune.
kavin pureness infuses
You've got a great voice! Guitar sounds lovely too.
This inspires me to start playing more acoustic again. Nice!
