john lee hooker, I SHOULD be listening to too much of him. I feel I leave out so much of the rhythmical aspects of the guitar. You can have a louder than drums sound from a guitar and if you can work your way around that there guitar you can definitely add more than what drums have to offer. Excellent song here Kavin. Cheerz.
Mellow morning mist fall
Melting into day
This summer said son, you are lazy
Don’t follow any example, break every rule
After awhile you’ll find it’s so easy to do
Just stay within the limits of your love
Soon the air will turn colder…
Sunday aftnoon (11/09/08) took the reso down to the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and recorded some doodling inside the Serra sculpture Vortex. No effects added, all natural reverb inside the structure.
A fingerpicky tune from the old days.
The different guitar voices (nylon string classical and Guild 12-string) were attained using a Line 6 Variax 600 modeling guitar. Great for recording, but I returned it because of some minor issues.

This track is off of the third CD. This is an improv recorded one afternoon in my basement recording studio. Recorded with my Huss and Dalton MJC in standard tuning.
This track is off the third CD. It reminds me of the feeling that one has when having to do something that we'd rather not do. Recorded with my Godall 12 in standard tuning.
I sent the tracks for this tune to a friend of mine who owns a professional studio. I gave him no instructions on how to mix it, as I wanted someone else's take on the music. He created a very dry, intimate mix, focusing more on the acoustic guitars…
This track is a second attempt to put Kavin's beautiful track [Poor Boy](http://alonetone.com/kavin/tracks/poor-boy) through my Steve Reich style phase shifting looper.
In the first I had it play through the whole track but I didn't think it…

Yeah! This sounds like it could have been on Clapton's first solo album.
Nice playing. Inspiring!
Great stuff Howard. Thanks for uploading these 3 albums. Wonderful listening for all us pickers.
Wow Rick, I guess I missed this when you put it up! That was great fun, thanks. The koto sound was done with an iPod Touch app, by the way.
Wonderful remix, I like the guitars up front on this one. An alonetone guitar favorite, for me.
This popped up in itunes and I thought it was Yes! Great guitars and arrangement!
Interesting. Tends to bring out elements that just whizz by in the original. Cool, thanks.
Thanks yawl. @mmi: everytime I record acoustic gtr it's always an experiment, and never seem to get it "real". But we keep trying.
Hail yuh!
Love this rockin' stuff. Thanks.
Me too. This song. Gonna be in my head all day and that's ok. Good one.
Great to hear these again!
Well done, from the heart. Let their memory live on in this.
Yeah, sure. I like the violin and words at the beginning.
Thanks guys. New version has harmonic and eq fixes.
This is greatness! Has me reaching for my 12-string!
Love it! Alan Parsons meets Fright Night!
@ NA, yep it's a SS track, but no vocal. I added gtr. Thanks man.
Wanted to bring this back up front for Halloween. A great reading with cool sound fx!
Great, Tool-ish bass work!
