More stuff from the ancient archives rescued from the same cassette tape as Last Nights Fun. This time a set of 3 Irish reels Live at a concert back around 1992
Archival stuff from my distant past with former bandmates in Scartaglen. A set of traditional Irish tunes. Rescued from a cassette tape done at a concert back in the early 90's. Myself on Uilleann pipes and whistle. Mike dugger on guitar and fiddle…
This track jist reminds me of how good Irish and Scottish music is, It has a great fun factor to it. I dare anyone who listens to it not to smile or tap their feet. Excellent work Kirk bet you had some awesome times playing live!!.

Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
This song is just magnificent. Just another example of the expressiveness of a master and his instrument. I am one who typically hears words behind instrumentals, but words would only detract from this masterpiece. Just incredible... Just incredible...
Wow, sometimes an instrument can express so much more than words. This is incredible, and I am very envious of your immense talent with the instrument that I'm trying like hell to come to understand. Ah well... The conversations you have with your six strings are the kind that I can only hope to have in time.
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…

Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…

A song written for my dear old friend, Kirk Lynch, who I've known for almost 20 years. For those who don't know, Kirk and I live less than an hour apart, but I swear it's been five years since we've seen each other in person, which just ain't…
Had to hear this one again. Downloading this one for my alonetone faves album Volume 1. You're in the company of SS and Bethan as well as ACL on that one
My Pirate song. Sounds more like a polka band, but what the hell. I had fun doing it.
a song for Gumbo.
we sailed the angry seas
til we found a neutral port
we rowed the ship to shore
to go and find a fancy whore
down at the Buccaneer inn…
Due to a series of unfortunate mishaps, our initial recording plan for the weekend has gone seriously awry. We did, however, have 15 minutes to write, record, and mix this little duet. Yep - another 15-minuter.
This is just a test. If this had been an actual song then the signal you just heard would have been followed by news, information, and directions from state and federal authorities.
Actually, this is a new scale I just learned today.
