From the archives. Traditional Irish slow air. Myself on the Uilleann pipes with synth backing. This was recorded at a concert here in Weston back in I think '92. Originally recorded on an ancient 4 track machine and then transferred to cassette…

Just one of those passing moods. Just finished today - august 2 2009. I resisted the temptation to try to develop it any further and just let it be what it is
Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…

One from a year ago or so. Never was happy with the recording quality, but never got around to re recording it. My attempt at a kind of late 70's Phil Keaggy thing
Love this one. You really do make the guitar sing. On my favorites for sure. You have soul....and btw nice pic of you hugging your guitar. That says it all. That kind of emotion is HEARD in ur tracks. :)
Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime
the first multi track piece that I actually finished "in the box" in Cubase. An ambient kinda thing that grew out of playing around with the Line 6 DL4. Not sure I like the bow parts, but I may re do it later

A little spaghetti metal featuring The Two Regs
The Hangman
It was a cloudless blue sky
there was no where for her to hide
in the hot sun, as she witnessed her man die
the accuser stood with his head high
as he told all his lies…
Got no email notice about this track. Must be another quirk with the alonetone upgrades. Always up for a little spaghetti metal! Cool guitar sounds at 2 minutes!
This track was created as part of the October 2010 Alonetone 24 hr challenge. The challenge is to make 24 minutes of original music in one 24 hour period.
A tune for Halloween.
I wanted to do something creepy. It works.
All Alone
I turn your knob
and throw Spot a bone
I palm your panties
when your not home
I turn the lights off
and cut your phone
I feel your fears
when you all…
a Guitar World column by Keith Wyatt gave the main riff to "Boogie Uproar," an instrumental by Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown along with some of the licks, so i just improvised on those and didn't try to stick to the original very much.

Another very nice piece. Love the melody instrument. Synth? Flute?
Excellent guitar work here, Kirk. I wish I could play as well. ER
@ lastsalutefolk- That was in standard tuning, but down about a half step and capoed at the 2nd fret. Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated!

Thanks for your comment mate. I look forward to hearing more from you
one cool groove. Low plucking guitar in time with ticking clock is sweet. You can tell an interesting story with your playing.
mighty fine !

Oh Yeah this is sweet! I'm thinking email notifications aren't working sometimes with the upgrades here. Almost missed this one
