A true story about some of my odd dreams
If the world's strongest man
Could hold the world in the palm of his hand
Would he crush us all into dust?
As a way to punish us
These are the kind of things
That seem to occupy me
If a giant…
The story of a car crash.
Had the dream again this morning
Pictured just how it would be
Saw it moving in slow motion
Felt it rushing up to me
And suddenly it's happening
I can't seem to make myself believe
Clench my fists
Lose my…
My first RPM cover of 2011. This one is "Like This" by The Missed Connections. I seem to have taken a darker turn with the song than Amelia did. It wasn't intentional, but it seems to be what I do when I cover her songs.

Do you wonder
What became of me?
Cause I wonder
What became of you
Since you wandered
Wandered far away
Full of wonder
I couldn't make you stay
So I wonder what became of you
Did you do the things you had to do?
Will you find your…
This is a love song for my wife.
I want to be
Your honey bee
And you could be the only bee for me
Monogamy
For you and me
You, my little sweetheart
Monagabee
Life would be so happy, you see
If you would be the only bee for me
And…

The story of a workplace experience. And an ultimate fighting match.
Killer bassline by Ian Tanner. Drums by Grant Muller. Backing vocals by Clarke McMurray.
Hey there Mr. Flashy Pants
Hey there voice of thunder
As you lie there flat on…
Yep, you're right about it being a killer bass-line.
The vocals are pretty stand-out as well :-)
Initially, I wasn't sure whether your vocal delivery was fitting the songs, but this one showed me why it works so well. It's almost like we've got David Gates singing punk songs here... lol. The contrast really brings out the emotions in the lyrics. If you tried to sound "angrier" we'd actually lose some of the power...
A very bitter account of leaving a job.
Don't burn the bridge they say
Yet here I stand any way
With a can of gas and a match
In my hand
Thinking how after all this time
Still not sure what's yours and what's mine
And neither of us is…
A very bitter account of leaving a job.

The (mostly) true story of my friend DAVe and his quest to finish college.
You laid down the challenge
You said you want to hear a song about a donkey again
Well, I'm here to tell you
I have a little story about my friend
He put himself…
Do you wonder
What became of me?
Cause I wonder
What became of you
Since you wandered
Wandered far away
Full of wonder
I couldn't make you stay
So I wonder what became of you

Chester Arthur was the president
But no one remembers him
What about you?
He served a term with no vice president
And no one resident
To tell him what to do
He came to office by a bullet's grace
Garfield lost his place
And Arthur took…

Brian from A Beautiful Scene sent me the lyrics to his song and said "Do what you want." The lyrics really intrigued me, and I wanted the song to have the rainbow tone palette of colors and sounds that I suspect is the backdrop mentally to his…
My cover of Letter Seventeen's "Who Will Pay", a great song you should also listen to the original version of. Tim sent me the chords and lyrics and said "Interpret as you will." So I did, and here it is.
I'm so glad you finally posted this tremendous version of my song. Your interpretation blows my original out of the water. Thanks for honoring me with this great recording.
Written and recorded as part of our family RPM project this year. :-D
13 year old Jasmine on vocals and ukulele.
We wrote and recorded 10 songs under the name Cattica. It was just the best month of lockdown imaginable.
Wow. That was really great. Thanks for recording this. There's something special about hearing your own song played back through someone else's perspective.
This is a cover of L17's cover of WIlsuns Album Departure. I took out all of the unnecessary bits and the starts and stops. It was like Covering Wilsun's 8 songs, then Tim's eight songs, but also Tim's one big song... Making this like.. 17 covers…
This is a remarkable piece of art. Using the drums from Boys Don't Cry is an inspired bit of brilliance....
And bonus points for the emotional yelling in Goodbye. :)
Cover off of Letter Seventeen's 2020 RPM album. Tried to do the opposite of imitating him, imitating someone else. This was one of the most time consuming songs I have ever done. I manually gated the Kick and Toms which takes a long time(and is…
This is truly wonderful and is a brilliant reinterpretation of our song. In particular, I love the little bit where you double time the kick in the chorus.
A song about my cat, who like many cats can be a total pain in the ass. All things described in this song are true.
Recorded to tape for the RPM Challenge 2019, remastered Oct 2019.
I was expecting a remix of the Conference Of Mayors tune from a couple of years go, but instead got to hear you sing about “touching the love”. Awesome!
This is not about choosing sides, it's about being disillusioned and angry. Feels good to shout behind loud guitars. Thanks Steve Litras for the guitar solo.
Henry Ferrara-Brown: Drums, Tambourine, Vocals, Backing Vocals, Synths, Bass, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar.
A darker reworking of a song by Parry Gripp.

And a nice one to finish. The whole album is an excellent piece of work.
Big smile on my face listening to this. Superbly recorded vocals and guitars by the way.
I love this one.

Great song, fine guitar work. Is that a Rickenbaker bass you are playing?
Still my favourite from this solid album. Great stuff Tim.
That is such a cracking chorus!
Lovely, and a nice change of pace for the closer. Good choice there.
Excellent! Really like the idea behind this. Nice tune, well performed.
Well I enjoy the noises you make :) I like this one a lot, I'll have to explore your other stuff.
Ahh, that's nice.
Hooky, great vocals, especially where there are two together.
Really good song, very catchy.. Wife keeps telling me to shut up and stop humming it as we make dinner. MJ
Love it.......

Check out Mr. Blue-Eyed Soul!
This is my favorite song on the record. Yeah.
Such a joy - combining Brian's great writing with Gary's remarkable musical perspective. Just a lovely song.

Great work, Drew. Your vocals are just perfect and I love the left/right guitar effect.
Oooh. Pretty!
This is a lot better than my version. Awesome work! FWIW the title is "In The Eye". :P
So lovely. She has an amazing sweetness to her voice.
This is awesome, Alex. I've missed hearing your voice. Excellent work!

You guys knocked it out of the park here.

Living with cats, I can relate.
Keep having fun and keep drumming, Henry. This is a really great song!

Love the harmony bit in the chorus.
Great work, Brian. Nice, mellow groove and I like all of the flourishes.
This is better than roughly 75% of the music produced by RPM participants each year. Henry's already almost as good as his dad.... :)
Yowza. Missed this the first time around. Awesome work!
