An ambient guitar piece done rather quickly, warts and all.
Stems from ideas I've been developing on my new JamMan looper pedal (catnip for guitarists if there ever was such a thing).

That was lovely. I can quite easily see how you would just jam for hours and never get around to recording. Which probably means you should be on stage!

A happy kind of electro pot-pourri.
The process:
- find a sound, noodle in Ab
- find another sound, develop a compatible noodle
- repeat a couple of times
- program a beat
- add replicant
- find other sounds for a B section
- find more sounds…
It's 1:28 am on the Pacific coast, fog is rolling in and I am three fingers into the single malt, and this....is just wonderful.
thanks...I like the way you noodle...genius under cover.
Very raw, completely improved piece. One track, one take.
Guitar -> GT-10 -> JamMan Stereo
A touch of Discord 3 was added as a send effect. Limiting on the master track. Et voila.
Sorry about the clipping.

Took sandbag's [Andromeda 1](http://alonetone.com/sandbags/tracks/andromeda-1) and applied some BigSeq2 and LiveCut.
Added a little FM8 underneath.
And this happy little accident came out.
To everyone missing.

I found silver in your mouth

found stories in your eyes

After I read into RPM and understood that anybody could take the challenge, I joined up. I'm starting with a clean slate, so I hope I can finish! This a WIP of the first tune I'm working on. Everything I do will be recorded/produced with the Boss…
Thanks to Mike Brown for lending a hand with the lead parts.. despite trying his damnedest not to! Also thanks for MMI for the advice which in part at least, I took!
I'm gonna call you dirty from now on in x2

2010 RPM Challenge
Worked on this track for a *long* time. Learnt a lot but it's time to call it done and move on to something else. Am pretty happy with it all in all.
Sounds include samples of me clapping and the Snowdon steam train heavily processed with Ableton…
just finished this one, represents a slightly new direction i am taking i think.
i am particuarly proud of the polyrhythmic sound i achieved. i was worried it mite become too cluttered (at the beginning) but i think i achieved clarity.

Live performance from "Zodiacrobatic", Hybrid Groove Project's remix of "Tierkreis" (Zodiac) by Karlheinz Stockhausen. Brian Sacawa and I performed this, our version of Leo, on our Mobtown Modern series in May 2009. The complete "Zodiacrobatic…
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
I made this simple song to try out playing an acoustic guitar with an ebow. It works, but it's quite quiet. The movement of the fingers on the fretboard is louder than the sounds. I didn't use any effects on the guitar tracks.
I recorded my voice…

neato!
Loop on man! Meow.

Sit back, close your eyes, hallucinate.
magnificent sounds. Excellent playing M. and a damn fine mix as usual.
Beautiful! Reminds me that I need to dig out the electric gear and the jamman and do some of that stuff myself again
Great tones.
Very interesting- nice balance of tension and release
Ooh! Like the subtle percussion after 5 mins, works beautifully to lift the whole piece to its sweet finale.
Comforting, optimistic and sublime. Like sunrise for insomniacs.
...and then this beautiful cascade of sound that was like stumbling through glitter of the morning after.

Got a real underwater vibe! 1 track!?!?!?! Awesome!
Awesome. Yes there was a bit of clipping in there but who cares really? This was very listenable.
Oops, last comment was from me.
Does sound fun. At least you recorded *something* and uploaded it! :)
Well, that was fun.
great improv!
Very enjoyable first thing in the morning too!
I Love it! It's really edgy thanks to all the rhythmic stuff

Superb!
Swoon.
Welcome to the party. Interesting limitation(?) you've chosen.
Awesome song.
Tapped out! Super cool. If you don't mind the comparison, sounds very Trey Gunn (which is a good thing).
Yeah, I'd have trouble sleeping too with musical ideas like this.
Very well done. Somebody should warn those Kraftwerk dudes that you're coming for them.
Very cool.
*Love* it.
Is this at all inspired by the TV show? Cause it certainly fits.
Dudes. Nice frickin' porch. Wish I was there.
Wish I was there to see this.
I love the changes. (Man I still have so much to learn.)
yay for warts; felt like I was there
Really digging the vibe of your recent stuff.
Don't you hate it when somebody walks in in the middle of a take? :-) So realistic I jumped.
Astonishing. Love the video too.
yeah man. can hardly wait for the savaging.
Hahaha, awesome. Brings me back to my time listening to Bill Bruford's Earthworks.
A thing of beauty. Few write changes like this anymore.
