This is my cover of 'Lady Killigrew'. This song was originally done by Sister Savage, and Bethan Mathis, and can be found on either of their alonetone pages. I highly recommend their version. They sing prettier... probably look prettier too…

Written and Recorded August 29, 2009
Details: Martin D1 (DADGAD - capo V), Shure SM57, Audacity, Sound Forge.
Late night improvisation in remembrance of my father.
I needed a place to host a work in progress where it wouldn't be obvious so you might have found a secret mix!!!
So that 4 minute song with the slide guitar that no-one listens to is gone ;-)
This is my first recording and not great quality. I have ordered a better quality microphone, just waiting for it to arrive. Quality aside, I was hoping for some constructive critcism/comments on my version of this song.
New stuff has been slow in coming for me lately, but I found this lurking on my hard drive from a while back. Frankly don't remember how I did it except that it was all live to 2 tracks and at one point one of my synth patches glitched out on…
OK it's the morning after the party at the China Quay, and our hero is waking up. What has happened?
Influenced by about 6 different doowop tunes (great for hangovers!)
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
This should be the final tune from Nitro's "Wanna Dance" album project. Ruthie's "theme song". I added the slide guitar at the end.
Nitro:Guitar/Drums/vocal
Ruthie:vocals
Tommy:Bass
Charlie:harmonica
Bull: Keys
Rick:Lead G.
Kavin:Lead G.
Lyric:
SHE
She,
Shes never far away from me.
She always gives me what I need.
So that I never want.
She,
She never strays too far from home.
She rarely leaves me all alone.
She's my whole world.
She,
She watches over me.
She…
I like this a lot. Nice work.
BTW... "i've been working on it a while. the drums sound like shit, my vox are horid and the guitars suck balls"
... made me laugh... pretty much describes everything I do.
this song was inspired from an ee cummings poem. it was composed for rpm 2009.
lyrics:
i'll tell you a dream i had once
up in the sky blue everything
flying away a kite on a string
i didn't have anything
i was cool you were warm…

great cover....
Yes! Great version of a great song.
Heh. You kind of put a sailor's spin on the original. I could picture this being played by pirates travelling the seven seas.
Wow! That's different to the original. Love the guitar in there. You've de-frocked it. Um, I mean de-folked it!
Oh my God! I LOVE IT! You have completely grabbed this song by the neck and Moschelled it! I couldn't have asked for more.
Totally different to the original, it works really well. Excellent.

Never heard this before, what hilarious, clever lyrics. Brilliant.
Love this, really bluesy.
HAHA! Love this!
I could see Louie Armstrong doing this one! Too bad he is dead. Good tune!
Great arrangement and I love your tempo choice! Toe-tapping cover of a cracking song!
What a big surprise!! That's great, moschell. Man you've got a good voice for this. Rip-roaring!

You get me everytime. Beautiful playing!
Liked this song a lot... looking forward to more!
Beautiful.
This makes me want to do something. Not sure what at the moment. Just something. And I want to do it now.
I really like the pace of this one. Very laid back... at least it made me very laid back. Also, this is about the speed at which I can actually dance.
I'm always jealous of the singers. Nice voice. Looking forward to hearing more
Pretty. I like the mood of this one.
Laughed all the way through this one. Fun. BTW... I have Ruben and the Jets on vinyl.
Nice. Like the way it changes up in the middle... a lot.
Nice. Like the feel and sound of this one.
This isn't long enough. Nice playing.
Nice. Nice to hear some pipes. Sweet tune.
Always a sucker for an extended blues boogie. Really nice. Great slide talent... I could use some lessons. You never fail to impress.
@Sister Savage... well, it's mostly fictional... except for that not being allowed on the furniture part.
Like this one a lot. Guitar work is good, I like the way you have it in the mix, and the singing is great.

I like this. Hoping it turns into something cool. Sounds good so far.
