My take on Gumbo’s Keep Your Eye On The Spot, one of many excellent tracks from his RPM2011 album ‘Cat’s Moustache’. It’s something of a departure from the original, though I was trying to retain an element of the gospel so hopefully its soul is still in there somewhere!

totally different vibe to Gumbos a cracking cover..... now i'm confused (conversation in head) ......which do i like better..... why do i have to like one better? its not a competition is it, why cant i just love both... ok thats what i'm going to do... thats it we've decided we love both... who wouldn't....excellent work Alex... those are some excellent lyric Gumbo
