Final version
An unaccompanied song about bedtime. Not a lullaby though. Oh no!
What does anyone think of the ‘cat’s moustache’ line - it seems like that’s a make or break call right there and i like it when i read it but it’s hard to sing without it standing out all prominent.
It’s recorded in that old timey style - think Ola Belle Reed (… and if that means anything to you you’re welcome round anytime. :-) )
No energy last night so i watched a couple of episodes of firefly and slept on the sofa while the fire burnt down. I woke up and wrote this song straight out with no editing. I tried finding chords for it and then just threw down an accapella vocal to go with the momentum.

thanks Alex I'm still not sure meself but it calls for drastic measures. either i have to change the lyric or i have to call the album 'The Cat's Moustache'.
accapella works. like it as it is. The mustache did stand out to me but i kinda liked it personally. nice one chum
