Another one pulled from the archive...I was really into soundtrack scoring when I was making this track. Headphones advised for full range on this one…
I wish my CD players in the vehicles worked so I could listen to your stuff in wav format when I drive..time to get new CD players I guess! Great song.

I love the fill at 1:40 that sounds like it should build into a nice hard vibrato Kim Thayil solo. The bridge that kicks in at 2:16 is an excellent addition to a solid theme. My only gripe is the crash being panned hard left. I think it either needs less extreme panning or some reverb panned half way to the right to help balance its place in the mix.

Mancera is an spanish Fortress build about 500 years ago in an island with the same name, in the south of Chile.
Off course it has a lot of history, i used to go there when i was a kid and i have big memories of it, been in the big dungeon, where…
Since Norm found himself in an acoustically great room, full of unfinished cabinets I couldn't help but add some acoustic guitar, crank it up and hope you like it Norm!
Life is a quest for knowledge and a simple realization that not only is there so much we don't know but to declare it somehow is empowering. A great collaboration with Norm who is an amazing percussionist and a super cool guy! Thanks for the…
Man, great collab that I missed. Love the whole track, nice harmonics floating in and out and a good progression of chords to go along with sweet percussion.
My first attempt at a Blumlein or Mid/Side recording. This one is actually a mid/side recording as I used a directional mic in combo with a figure 8 ribbon mic set at 90 degrees from the main mic. Thanks to Pat Broaders for the loan of the ribbon…
Thanks Kirk! I thought the process might start with old boot leather and assorted hoof parts, mix it with snouts and lips and I've got dinner fit for a king
This is simple test of East-West symphonic choirs solo soprano voice and East-West Hollywood strings contra-bass. I feel its a bit reminiscent of Lord of the Rings - of course, your mileage may vary - it is a very simple and direct arrangement…
Basically my feeble attempt at a fist pumping 'dance' song... but of course I had to weird it up a bit. :) The main vocalist who basically says variations of 'I like to dance' are my computers voice. Thanks for listening!
So I dropped the guitar into DADGAD tuning for the first time, threw a capo on the third fret, rifled off something nice, and sent it to Movement to Contact for his contribution, got it back, did some mixing...
Here is the result.

I still love our collab. You track really amazes me to this day....it was the music that inspired the lyrics...it amazing how a few notes and chords can take me into a certain space. The way you played this was so jammed with emotion, I decided if I was to do vocals is had better be from the heart or it would have ruined this track...anyway I love this one...truly amazed me...
This solo studio dub jam was created and recorded in about 8 hours of play time one day. As usual, it starts with a simple drum machine track, then fretless bass, then keys, guitar, then a Balinese kecak drum and a tbilat drum and finally melodica…
Originally on my [24-hour album](http://alonetone.com/colingarvey/playlists/24-hours-of-aargh) back in 2008, I've added an invisible rhythm section and remixed it.
I may do this with a few more old tracks I didn't quite get right first time round.

mm this is fantastic :)
Dude. Soooooo good.
Awesome!
This is a fabulous foundation for a rocking tune. I'm trying to figure out what vocal style would fit, though. I'm thinking Layne Staley.
That double kick is insane!! The break at 2:11 is a nice touch, especially where it builds at 2:27.
Fantastic jam :)
