So it has been a while since my last RPM. I felt this song was the best was to reintroduce myself with the insane process that is the RPM Challenge....

I'm digging this - you get the levels perfect. I like how the instrumentation slowly builds up over the course of the song.
(It's nice being able to see the audio visually now when the song plays - it gives me a better sense of what the optimal levels are for music should be.)

There's a darkness creeping in the woods by a brimstone tree
A withered headless horseman traveling on the breeze
A mighty footprint measured 15 inches long
Whispered voices rolling in off the fog

For our beautiful son Willem, in French Guillaume.
recorded in my livingroom, 16-7-2009.
I called the song Guillaume before because of the beautiful sound.
Since 2012 I changed the title of the song into : Willem.
Because that makes much…

I need an ebow....everytime i'm in a music shop and see one i almost buy it, then i think...when would i use it? The answer....when i need one LOL. I almost bought a loop pedal after listening to your cd's as well...if i had just a little extra cash i would have got it for next to nothing.
Enough about that, this live ebow loop thing works good for me today.
i was listening to a post of this Beatles cover by oldrottenhead this morning,,it is a really great song, so this evening i sort of just sort of sat down an let it happen,,i didn't even really know the song as much as i might like,, but i find…
Man....amazing take on a classic Richard. Always loaded with emotion. Per you comment on Desert Song, you would have to talk with Djork on the flute, I know a little about his set-up but he was the mastermind on the basic track format. I just added my touch to an already great track. :)
I Love the fact that No man is an Island.
These Guys Made me a Very Happy man By covering one of my songs.
I am Still Over the Moon!!!
Thanks Bro's!!!!!
Wasting away another weekend with some scales and mode practice on the synthesizers.
all the percussion is from the Juno drum patches and my fingers.
For you folks out there who enjoy the mode stuff this is Phrygian in A
A,Bb(A#),C,D,E,F,G,(A)
Chris sent this track to me earlier today with the request that I add some percussion to it.
I had something different in mind.
After the first take I was afraid to return it to him, fearing that he would convert it to 23 edo or something…

I think you and Mac need to team up on a track.....did i just rhythm?
Would fav again if i could. :(
Kind of like heavy surf guitar....i think this would work well in a movie chase scene.
This is pretty sweet. I can picture it as a bass line, very driving melody.
Damn never heard this one, one sweet cover......whatever became of Launched? :)
Nice finger smackin perc work :)
Not sure how I missed this! Pretty nice collab gents.
Nice playing Rick! :) Take care!
Thanks man! I do believe I might just have another collab in the works....something about a song in the desert? Or a desert song maybe ;)
Love the "crying" lead in the background.
This was a good pick-me-up for the afternoon. Very much enjoyed!
