Of out tonight for a drink with a few friends but not til 9 so i thought i’d try to write a song and i think i have . i think i’ll revisit it later to re-do but for now it will have to do. Hope you enjoy!! A heart-breaker for a Friday night….
ALONE IN THE DARKNESS
I don’t know what to say to you now
Everything has got kinda confused
My emotions well there in turmoil
There kinda feeling over used

In the night time in all that darkness
I feel so lost and alone
Where is it going where are you leading me
Am I really gonna be on my own

In this crazy time That were living through
You are always on my mind
Your sending me a little crazy
But at least I have you in here with me in my mind

In the night time in all that darkness
I feel so lost and alone
Where is it going where are you leading me
Am I really gonna be on my own

Break

I’ve told you I don’t know what say to you
I don’t know how I’m gonna get you to change you mind
How I can keep you here with me
When all you want to do is leave my side

In the night time in all that darkness
I feel so lost and alone
Where is it that your leading me
Am I really gonna leave me on my own

I can’t believe that you’d do that to me
After all those years of our love
Are you really gonna leave me cold
Living this life without your love

In the night time in all that darkness
I feel so lost and alone
Where is it going where are you leading me
Am I really gonna be on my own

Nice exercise, writing a song before you go out. It's a good one too! *Well Done*

The lyrics speak to me. The vocal delivery got me in the guts. The strumming was delicate yet powerful. This number is full of emotion – it really reaches. I suggest you leave it as it is, a musical photograph of your bruises and wounds at the time. Anything added or edited after this would be Photoshopping (or, what I like to call "Photo-chopping").
