I posted a version of this before. This is the same pretty much except that I put down a real, organic, bass track using my Squier Mustang bass, rather than the old synthetic one. The production is a bit ballsier too...

Jean Jaques Burnel is one of my bass heroes. This song is the second I recorded with the new Squier bass. I kept the other instruments secondary to show off the bass

Bought a new bass guitar and wanted to try it out, so made this last night. Gotta say the bass parts were easy, the guitar took ages to get right though. Now my fingers are sore.

Another song I recorded last year with the new kit.
This is a cold war relic (written just months before the fall of the Berlin Wall) which deals with the difficult issues of Paranoia, Hysteria, Alienation and the power of the Press. Get out…

More like a cover of the bauhaus cover of Bowie's song.
Recorded last night in under two hours from starting programming the drums to posting. Recorded for songcrafters.org's Bowie Fest.

Song about a misplaced lettuce.
First upload of my jazz recordings, again from the ninties. It's an instrumental.
It's called Lost Little Gem only because I totally forgot about it until a year ago or so when I was going through some old…
Song from mid ninties, for the Trawler tapes collection. I do plan to make a new version of this when I get around to it.

I've posted this "Naked" version because Mrs Russe wanted me to... :-)
It wasn't "finished" in my mind - there was a certain amount of "orchestration" to come.
But I ended up liking the starkness of this version.
The original intention…

This is the song that opened my ears to Rock music thanks to my sisters record collection…..i've been wanting to give this one a go since i first ever heard it at the age of about 10….so its only took about 40 years and thanks to Speed Demon i…
Think of Dylan's "Positively 4th Street" - only more biting and cynical and devoid of folk rock leanings.

With summer in full swing, and festivities nearby, I often think about how others across the globe celebrate their summers.
I hadn't been able to post much lately because I managed a composer contract for a game, and have been helping a local…
You can't beat early Feelgood. Oh, hang on, it's not Back in the Night. Comment stands. I need to hear this about 10:50 in a smokey pub somewhere. Good stuff, Freight...
Last track of the new album :D
For those wondering, no I'm not referring to anyone, it's just how the 'post rock' names are, ala Red Sparowes, ASMZ, etc. Long and Pretentious track titles.

What always strikes me when listening to music here is how greatly different what people choose to make for themselves is to the commercially available mass-produced stuff. And so much more entertaining for it. This is a unique and enjoyable listen, uh Tipu.
When I first read the title I thought it said Highway Maintenance Woman. Now there's an idea for a song. Love that guitar playing. I'm getting a note of Lemmy also.
I grew up in the 80's. Can you tell?

I like this , great backing guitars , good drums , excellent mate
Immaculate! Great vox, the new bass sounds really terrific, and you've nailed the guitar and bass line just as I remember them.
Frisky fruitfulness!
This has got balls and I like it very much!
Nice sound -- can't go wrong with ODH interpreting Bahaus interpreting Bowie :)
Different cover then what i usually hear. nonetheless your voice is oddly/slightly similar to David Bowie.
So glad you found this quirky little gem!
Brilliant! Love the music - everything comes together wonderfully!
Cool vibes!

Something slightly unsettling. Which is a good thing. Could be the treatment on the bass. I like...
I love the idea of doing the same words over different styles. And they're all good. The ones I've heard so far anyway...
Hey, I know that song! You have a beautiful voice
Great performance chaps. Has to be one of my fave Zep tracks. You Rock, dudes...
Love that Cocteau Twins guitar sounds
This song could come straight off any of my 80's mix-tapes. I really like the mood and intensity here and just-so minimalist production. I like.
Very enjoyable. Captured the spirit of the mysical world perfectly.
Sweet. Like chocolate.
I really like this, real gem of a song. I kept thinking you'd go into a heavy section; I'm really glad you didn't. Those brittle guitars are special

So laid back I nearly fell off my chair. I can hear this is some boutique bar in Dubai. Great stuff
Great song for a Friday afternoon with 10 minutes till I go home. Next time your at the Rummer, get yourself a beer, you deserve it. Cheers...
This is so good. Love those dissonance moments. Intensity with a light touch. Need to spend some time after lunch catching up on your stuff.
That's some great stripped down instrumentation there, Jim. Love the sound of those ukes

You're bang on the money, ZZ Top are cool. And Deguello is my favorite album of theirs (usually, depends what day of theweek it is). Anyway. Shit hot.

It's a great number, this. I like both versions, but this has a little more Sisters of Mercy about it.
Kind of Black Kids vibe. Nice
Some nice found-sounds and great atmosphere. Good listening...
