Grey Matters
Pale grey.. my blanket of birth... For what it’s worth
No one can say
Frozen hue.. bequeathed to me..
The powers that be
But what colors…

Hang Ups
mariano
We got our kinks, or something peculiar
I'm on the brink, you're feeding me lines
Stop and think, or call on your savior
Your weakest link, is tugging on mine
Fix me a drink, neat or its dirty
Ship starts to sink…
The Boogieman
tboudreau
I just might be hiding behind your bedroom door
you might find me lying under your bed, down on the floor
You swear you hear the creekin' coming up the stairs
you got your eye on the peep-hole and nobody's there…
Its Coming On
boudreau
Can't ya feel it start to unwind
Can't ya see it or am I just blind
Can ya hear it slippin' out of time
Do you fear it in the back of your mind
I can't shake it I feel it's shaking me
I try and break it right across…
we were asked for a Halloween tune, I wrote this but we felt it wasn't Halloweenie enough - so I re-wrote the lyrics to Jack O'Lantern - same tune, different lyrics - this was the original.
Ghost Train
boudreau 10-03-16
Tell me train conductor…
Jack O’Lantern
(boudreau10/12/16)
Well that Jack O' Lantern he’s just an empty-headed soul
He’s got fire on his breath and his eyes are just couple of holes
And skin as tough as leather and that busted up smile
But soon to be forgotten…
Doing My Time
Lyrics T Boudreau
Music Jimmy T
I was off on my ways
Might even call me crazy
I said, 'Baby brother,
can you spare a dime?'
He said 'from one to another,
how long have you been doin' time?"
I was out on a break…
Narrow Bridge
Lyrics - T Boudreau, C Maiorano Music - Jimmy T
That old narrow bridge might get ya to the otherside
But the strength within you will push you far and wide
And the lessons learned are far greater than the ride
All those hours…
Four by Four World
Lyrics Boudreau
Music Jim Tramontano
Well i wont pretend to hide
i choose not to step outside
my four by four world
Cast all your thoughts aside
Dont question or criticize
My four by four world
i'm challenging you…
Cemetery Mary
tboudreau /cmaiorano
I went out creeping on a Halloween night
Looking for the scream of my life
Not a single soul was sleeping every spook was insight
Even half-dead were alive
There's a guilty moon hanging in the gallows…
The Boogieman

I just might be hiding behind your bedroom door

First Lie
Chris Tune / Toms Lyrics
I heard you singing from the roof tops
saw you swinging in the trees
tripping on a cough drop
dealing your disease
I watched you watching from the washroom
heard you tumble down my stairs
passed out…

This song was inspired from all the snowstorms we have been having this winter, another on the way tonight.....I decided to prog it out for this one....prog-rock.....lets bring it back.
great recording here...the kit is captured well - exaggerated in a great way...again that snare is sizzling - envisioning the mic(s) placement...still g moore on guitar...really great stuff...
really pretty vibe here - well played - all parts...including engineering / mastering...sounds great over here...still love that guitar tone - we gotta talk
Lyrics/Vocals - OldRottenHead (over at Soundcrafters.org). Music - Dave Berry. Recorded on Boss BR-1200, Epi Sheraton, Bass, Synth. Drums are played by me on my new Roland HD-1 (I have had it two weeks, timing is a little shaky, bloody hard this…
No more messing about for Reg, this is the one she has long black satin hair the body of an angel, her accent is pure English rose she stands by the bar talking to her friends, she turns Reg catches her eye and smiles a bolt of electricity zaps…
A few months back we had a "Beatlesfest" on songcrafters.org.
I contributed this and Yesterday.
This one's a bit of a departure for me. Not the song itself - it's been one of my favourites ever since I was tiny (I preferred Robin Gibb's…
Electric blues. Recorded 2007. I was learning how to use my DAW and trying to figure out how a one-man-band could get to sound like a bunch of old bluesers in a sweaty bar...

**Rabbit Boy - A A J Russe**
Well she don't mind crying…
A tale of keeping your head above the water, or not...
Recorded Jan-Feb 2011.
I wrote it many years ago, never thought I'd ever do anything with it.
I intended to record this with just an acoustic and my new EDB (electric upright bass…
This song started with just the title. I think unappeasable is a fantastic word.
Unappeasable:
She’s so unappeasable
I don’t think that she’s feasible.
Oh, I’ve tried to be reasonable
but she can’t see my point of view.
She’s blind…
Lyrics:
Pass me a handle of that old time tennessee
It's been a while since I've seen the devil
It's a common mistake to think that I'm a sweet and gentle soul
but give me a chance to change your mind
Cause you have never seen me like…
i like this also...the drums are clangy and sharp, the melody is distant...the voice over is in my face...lo fi and hi fi all at once - we call that 'textures' i guess - nice work!
