Another skirmish - the prompt was “Cats (or other pets)”. Great prompt and I had some fun with this one. Pets are a big part of our lives so here’s a little taste of what it’s like at the Gordon house.

A long line of dogs and cats have lived here
Whenever we lost one, another would appear
We’d tell ourselves that we should wait
But we never waited long, didn’t need a debate

Belle, Reno, Mara
Stinky Lucy and Merle
But they’ve evolved into a new bunch
Two boys and a girl

He tries to get the cats in on the game
But they just ignore, they think that game’s pretty lame
