After my grandfather passed away, I thought back to when my grandmother died and how my parents were around the same age then as I am now. It kind of hit me that if I were in their situation, I could be close to losing a parent. I still have a…

With this song, I wanted to make a light piano song with a prominent beat to it. The result reminds me a bit like an Alicia Keys or Justin Timberlake ballad. It's mostly out of my range vocally but the idea is there.

A song about reading letters written by my younger self and how things have gotten so much better in the days since. Kind of my own 'it gets better' in song form.

Despite common belief, I think a good pop song is hard to write. I set out to write a simple pop song with this one. I don't think I really succeeded in making what I'd consider to be a good pop song but I think it's a start. It's simple and catchy.

This song is about the mutuality of a relationship from the happier days to when both silently agree it's ending. "We both want the same thing" applies to both ends of the relationship spectrum and sometimes the signs are clearly there.
