John Milton - Paradise Lost, Book 08
More ambient experimentation with my fretless guitar and Roland GR20. This time I used some sounds from the magnetic pickups as well as the midi pickup. Kind of a cheesy synth patch I know, but it was working for me!
how nice,,,like the way you build into the story,,,i like the multi tonality the various instruments give, especially the snare drums? ,(if that's the right name), if you have a chance to listen,, i have a piano solo version of the same storm posted here,,, a bit different in temper,, but still the same storm,,, this is very fine r

BETWEEN - 11-27/28-12
I step out of the car
I don't know where we are
Somewhere between a planet
A planet and a star
I never dreamed I'd end up
in a place like this
The Multnomah Falls is up the Columbia Gorge
Somewhere between Portland…
I got me a new mic and a pre-amp and I picked up the Jumbo Eko (I'll do this again when my fingertips have recovered). I tried to do finger picking when I was a teen, but didn't pursue it as it seemed like too much hard work at the time. Today…

I think the brass timbres fit the piece quite well.
Sounds wonderful! w;-)

For a first attempt, that's rather a success. If this is the ouverture, I'm impatient to hear the next movements.
