Stunningly beautiful...
I wish I listened to these in order now....
You write a real journey bro!
A storey I want to hear!
The way you condense each section into easily digestible parts is a fine skill!
Every change comes at just the right point to my ears....
Love it!
The long sustain on the piano and the Moorish progressions do give this a "warm desert" feel, very contemplative and soothing. The flute accompaniment was a nice touch... I'd love to meet the flute player, she has quite a set of lungs (smirk)... those are some long un-interrupted passages of notes... that, plus the quiet beauty of this kept me holding my breath. Nice!

Great cover! Manzarek had the ability to hold down the bass line (the Doors didn't have a bassist) and do those wonderful Bach-ish runs simultaneously. You've got that going on here too.
This is a great version, and I really enjoyed it! It's quit uncanny, but I just recently listened to Robby Krieger's "Versions", in which he covered his band's song as well. JM is great, but for some reason I always loved this one as an instrumental.
Very good piano playing, my friend!
looks like something from my local biotanic garden,, is the color true? i like the feeling of this piece...not sure how to say it, but i like it..... go figure,,,,
woooooooo no excuses,,,saying your not touching your piano for a year is like saying you have not touched your wife for a year,,,, you should never be so busy with life,, well played , i would like to hear more r
Found this little chappie while I was preparing my latest original for loading.
It was a quick demo recorded on my Boss Micro BR sometime in October or so last year (2011) while I was working on Shine.
It was a sort of "blow the cobwebs out…

So MTC put out [this wonderfully sparse instrumental piece](http://alonetone.com/mtcband/tracks/shadow-of-myself) and a vocal line just jumped out at me. Then some harmonies jumped out as well.
as i listen,, i fly,,,, i swim,,,, i float,,, in a sea of rich beautiful sound,,,,, i like the way you play with the main motif.... the tension is subtle, relaxing, nice ending r
Recently, my wife and I discovered the TV show Portlandia, and it has become our Saturday morning ritual to watch the latest episode with our coffee. Anyways, I kind of got the theme song (http://www.ifc.com/fix/2011/02/portlandia-whats-that…

From a few years back. Bill Pohl, Darrin Kobetich and I playing in the lounge at the Ridglea theater, in Fort Worth, Tx. Our first performance as "Strung, Drawn and Quartered". Notable because of my first use of live looping.

This is a remix of this song.
It was recorded in 2010, and I was in a hurry to post it elsewhere because I'm so fond of the song itself. But I've always hated the old mix - I lost the essence of the guitars and choirs during mastering because…
very cool Chris,, i find this very interesting,, you have great depth/sense of space in this, it's kind of neat viewing the photo and listening,,,,,nicely done

Oh dark and glorious! Brilliant!!
Mesmerizing arpeggios... intriguing to hear the melody rise out of it all.
Another flashing chance at bliss...I love The Doors, this is a very creative cover -

I enjoyed this album Richard. Very pleasant. A bit of charm, some class, and some top notch piano playing.
I'm still waiting for a left handed piano. I want the keys to go the other way :)
