Just a hint of the original melody, and the cascading notes in the middle, it's a different take on a classic and that's good. Thanks for not putting the rain sound fx in!
This is perfection. Thanks for sharing.
oh yea..I watched Quest For Fire again. I had forgotten most of it. I especially like the new friend they made...if ya know what I mean? Nudge nudge..wink wink. hehe. Just thinking about Rae Dawn Chong..sigh. She is the daughter of Chong of Cheech and Chong Fame.
two recorders and a flute get together in the back of a countryside English church late in the afternoon.....

warning!!! this is a long 10+ min instrumental
It's a piece about 4 years old that was my first attempt at using synth voices,, I am still looking for a good one,, if anyone knows.
The music itself is a tone poem, loosely dedicated to a children…
You are right on the money that I have a lot of fun coming up with my songs! Thanks for your listens and checking out my back catalog!
This song builds really nicely. It's very full and rich. I wish I could compose longer songs like this. I get tired of musical ideas really quickly and always want to move on to the next one! This would be great in a movie soundtrack. There is some slight hissing going on but nothing terribly distracting. Excellent work here!

Well, since I have not used MOTU SI I can't compare but you can since you can hear my Kontakt 4 sample set. Sonar 8.5 was / is a radical upgrade if you write more than classical music. But if one were strictly classical composition minded a better (rational!) program than Sonar to score with would make more sense to invest in than sonar 8.5 . I look forward to hearing what you are working on!

very cool and interesting piece,, i had the fortunate experience of spending 8 days in a remote and protected area 300 miles off cabo san lucas,, baja mexico,,, on all the dives i was in the water with humpback whales,,, their songs are amazing,,, mesmerizing,,, on one dive i was alone about 90 feet down on a ridge and they were so loud the water and i were vibrating!!!,,, i have to ask (though probably silly) have you seen the movie quest for fire??? if not i recommend it...on a final note i teach/practice fire by friction using indigenous stuff.. anyway thanks for the great piece... Richard
I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like to be in the water while the whales were singing. Amazing the vibrations don't damage other animals. I have seen Quest For Fire..thanks for reminding me actually, I wanna see it again. Wasn't Darryl Hannah in that? \
And..you teach making fires? That's a different job! heh. How many different ways are there to start one?

My submission for the Woody Project.
I started this jam in A minor then found out it was in C. So I figure I got as close as a guess can get.
I left it as is because it's a jam, and this tune should be jammed 300 million ways.
Enjoy Woody…

- I will see what comments I get, if any.
This is a short, more or less middle eastern-ish piece using the Zurna tuning and Mark of the Unicorn Ethno 2 sample set in Sonar. I performed (and…
I wrote and recorded this song about five years ago. All vocals are mine. I would like to redo this song and change a few of the lyrics...but here it is in its current incarnation.
very nice indeed.. you got some of that good ol texas twang goin (used to live in Del Rio myself, as i think i mentioned before) the musical accompaniment is stellar!! listening to your music reminds me just how encompassing the magic of music is,, our styles while very different on the surface have the magic of making the heart feel good (at least yours does, i hope mine does too) weither from the dusty deserts of a west Texas dance hall or the open green fields along the California coast,, we are all brother and sister musicians with a lot in common... guess im feeling a bit maudlin,, but after 5 listens to this that how i feel,, take care richard
My first composition that uses an odd time signature for a few measures. My drum fills are also more elaborate. It's just a little tune to bob your head to, tap your toe, you know, the good stuff!
I love you. And I'm watching you... :)
All one take into the Boss MicroBR hole and cleaned up a little. I'm the red headed stepchild of recording...
Love You
Some people want to know you
Wanna put their arms around you
Buy you a drink…

Very well done.
Aengus is all Ethno 2.
This is brilliant! Would you consider doing a collaboration sometime?
Beautifully done mate excellent piano. Top job mate.
Downloaded at 18 secs. Just like the first Doors cover I heard from you, its unique enough to almost not be a cover at all - I like that.
thank you, very nice playing
