This is another one for the RPM Challenge. This is some kind of 'song'... using a lot of repetition. Built with my synths and vocals and with the pressure of a deadline and a new rescue dog requiring most of my attention. Thanks for listening…
Here is my final mix of the last song I'm posting for this 2026 RPM Challenge. I wrote it half way through the challenge in a rough form and just finished the mix at 11:40 pm on February 28th. I did so many layers of synth and piano and stuff…
One song for my RPM challenge! I'm late to the party...but will try to finish anyhow (did I really sign up for 10 songs??!!!). This song was written while our guitar was in some peculiar tuning - so I just followed along. Kind of minimal but…

Trying to pump these out. Here's my next RPM song. When in doubt I just start harmonizing to whatever I write. I don't use any software to do harmonies - I prefer the old fashioned natural method because I love harmonizing to everything I hear…
This was the third song I wrote for RPM this year - took me a while to produce it. I started with a base line and it grew from there by adding piano and synths. Thanks to anyone who listens! My dog was playing with a squeaky toy while I made it…
Another song for my RPM challenge. I wrote this while improvising at the piano - a standard Jazzy chord progression I often play around with. I added some silly lyrics and called it a song (no time to waist here!). Thanks for the listen. People…

Here is a next song for my RPM challenge...(this is my 7th year and I'm off to a slow start...grrrr). I threw this one together kind of quickly and it sort of wrote itself- which is always fun. I kept it minimal and mostly used my Juno Synth…
Another one for the RPM Challenge. This is one is a bit of a mood piece created with my synths. Enjoyed creating the harmonies for this one (I just use intuition for harmonies...sometimes it works and sometimes it gets weird and I usually cut…

This is Song 10 for my RPM Challenge. This is an experimental piece that features clips of independent news and social commentators (Aaron Parnas and Pissed Magistas) who I respect and support. It is dark - it is my way of dealing with (what…

It wasn't really like this, it was very romantic.
This was a really quick write, though.
We were getting up, she was doing her hair…
Demo for FAWM '25, based, you could argue damn near ripped-off, from Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! a collab with both @dreamscuba and @nahlej381 which is the closest I might get to a super-group.
[Verse]
The naked flesh, of desert heat.
Where…
Very fitting for our times...great lyrics. I like the hard driving bass and without guitar actually. Your FAWM must almost be done! (love the "welcome to violence" voice
this song is about 17yrs old , i have remixed it , guitar / bass / lead gtr / keyboards organ / vocals / words / music . by myself . hope you like it thanks for your time ......cheers tony cee.
Just a little something to take off the chill of the recent polar vortex here in MN. Thanks for listening!!!

Great for this snowy day! Really great tune (harmonica!) and I needed these lyrics. Great coming back to find your songs - you've been productive! Well done.

I started this one first but got stuck in the surrealism of the opening line (it was "He" originally). I really didn't want to give the suntan…
Rough demo for FAWM '25. More proof of concept, but there are not enough days in February to get this where I want.
[Verse]
What could I do, baby,
it was too big for me.
I thought I had it,
but I couldn't reach
My hands grew shaky…
Demo for FAWM ’25. Based off a poisonous plant prompt, which in my case was Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) a plant that to my initial disappoint is the "kid gloves" of deadly plants, traditionally more common for medicinal use than murder, but…

I was writing this from about 1am this morning before I went to bed, then on and off in between takes on the demos of the previous three today…
oh my, another beauty! Your voice is out of this world. The wee hours are great for creativity. The structure of this song is great and the melody!!! Bravo.
Hello peeps!
Long time no public activity from me.
I've been working on a bunch of stuff with the guitarist from my old band. None of its ready...
However, I've been experimenting with different ways of jamming and doing demos. And in the…

Hello again! Great to see you back :) Beautiful song!! You are off to a great start. Amazing what you can do with just guitar and voice...real musicianship.
Final version
Day 28
Anyone else still writing songs?
this is the result of trying to listen to too many mixes in one day. Sometimes it's just easier to record something else.
This was an RPM track back in the day, and I've been playing it various ways to find a setting for it within the band repertoire. This doesn't sound much like our band would do it but it came out nicely, so i thought i'd share it.
Someone's at the door. I'm not expecting anyone, and I just can't deal with this right now.
