This is my first musical expedition into the midi keyboard. Having never played the piano its a fun learning experience. Thanks to Norm for lending me Stinkbug!
13 minutes! Fail! I recommend you augment your self a bit (with a glass or three of red wine or whatever floats your boat) and dim the lights, lay on the floor with your eyes closed where you can feel the bass rumble and get ready to be my passenger…
Out on the lawn there arose such a clatter!
Sometimes, as they say, Christmas do come early. I found Johnny Stone's "Christmas Rock In Oz" under the tree and couldn't wait until Yuletide to unwrap it. What a rockin' gift! I know a bit about…
I extended my very short Halloween piece - doubled it in length - not too hard considering it still is only a minute long.
This is using the Garritan Personal Orchestra sample set.
2 organs, piano, flute, bassoon.
In Argentina they say "in Argentina everything may change - except the tango", but I couldn't resist adding some percussion to this beautiful nuevo tango by Vincent Voois, composed in the style of Astor Pantaleon Piazzolla.
Check out Vincent…
I've gone more acoustic for this piece with bass and guitars courtesy of Jaz Arwand and the lovely, airy sound of Jess Spencer's voice. The song is about empathy or lack thereof.
I couldn't talk for a while afterwards and I felt like a moron after listening to my vocals, but it had to be done :) So no laffin'!
Our attempt to be on the roof of Abbey Road Studios if only for a moment!
The Lineup:

I did the guitar and bass tracks first, then procured my 10 year olds cello for the main bass line :) I also tried my luck playing cello with a bow on this track- which was a new experience.
The trumpet and violin bits are played…
So Jim of "Movement to Contact" asked me a couple of weeks ago to send him something...
I had no idea how ridiculously good the final result would come out.
KL: Vocals, lyrics, left side rhythm guitar and picking
MTC: Lead guitar, bass…
Had these backing tracks laying around on my drive for a while and didn't know what to do with them, so grabbed my Ebow and a fretless electric that I built for myself a couple years ago and had a go. My fretless playing is really in its infancy…
It's not unusual to chase your girl around with a dull axe, is it? Just kidding - This was 60 tracks and almost a year to finish. I had some help:
Guitars: Tony W
Fadeout Solo: Gnasty
Acoustic/Rhythm Guitars: Me
Phone Message: Tony W &…
I swore that I would NEVER upload this. Was having a bad day trying to loop "nice" acoustic guitar sounds and got frustrated so grabbed my Taylor and plugged it into a cheesy Effects box and straight into the looper. Started twiddling knobs and…

I hate the fact that your percussionist is quite clever.

Actually I slipped in some Peter and the Wolf, because yes that can happen!! Thanks!
Based on the few comments I read, the reason this is so good is because it touches something way down deep inside the listener. Loved it!
