2024 50/90 Challenge idea number 36 becomes finished song number 24.

Two, two, two songs in one! I probably should have separated this into two files, given that the goal of the project is 50 songs and this one could have been two instead of just one… but I’m a little soft in the head so… yeah.

Little known fact, when you lose 200+ pounds it magically gets easier to play arpeggios on the guitar. Who would have thunk it?

All of the guitar tracks are my Les Paul Standard. All of the amps are my Fender Bassbreaker 15 and my Vox MV50 Clean, both running direct output with built in cabinet emulation. The pedal chain for the rhythm tracks is a Klon KTR into an Analog Man King of Tone. The leads used a Real McCoy Customs RMC10 into the Klon into the King of Tone into a Seymour Duncan Vapor Trails.

Verse 1
I believe in
What I’m seeing
No good reason
Disagreeing

Verse 2
Always smiling
quite disarming
No surviving
Disregarding

Chorus
Worth your weight in gold
promises untold
While you sail away
Nothing else to say
It’s all over

Verse 1
Nothing left to say about it
None remaining
No reason to cry about it
No complaining

Chorus
Coming clearer now (4x)

Verse 2
I won’t ever share the secret
I’m not telling
I know no one would believe it
So compelling

Saved!
