2024 50/90 Challenge song idea number 41 becomes finished song number 39.

I really like the chorus in this one. I think it’s the two pick up notes leading into it that sold me on the whole thing. Really it sold me on the whole song. I wasn’t really feeling it until I added that little bit and then, boom. I dug the whole song. It’s weird how that happens, isn’t it?

The rhythm guitar tracks are my Les Paul Standard into an Earthquaker Devices The Depths into a Klon KTR into an Analog Man King of Tone into a Fender Bassbreaker 15 and a Vox MV50 Clean, both running direct output with built in cabinet emulation. The leads are my ES-335 Pro into a Real McCoy Customs RMC10 into a Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian into the KTR into a Seymour Duncan Vapor Trails into the same two amplifiers.

Verse 1
No one cares for your worries
Broken just like your day

Verse 2
Stated ever so plainly
Waited for the right time

Chorus
There’s a time
where you have to know the reason
where you see through all the lies
When you come to a decision
good or bad

Outro
I can see through the lies
see right through the disguise
I can see through the lies
must be something to hide

Saved!
