So What Who Cares

2024 50/90 Challenge song idea number 14 becomes finished song number eight.

Now that it’s done I don’t think I like it as much as I did while I was tracking it it. Unusual for me, the part that works best for me is actually the vocal melody, especially in the verse. Maybe I would like it more if the tempo was a little faster? I don’t know.

The rhythm guitar tracks are my ES-335 Pro into an MXR Phase 95 into a Klon KTR into a Keeley D&M Drive. The amps for both the rhythm and the lead are a Fender Bassbreaker 15 and a Vox MV50 Clean, both of which are running direct output using built in cabinet emulation. The lead guitar is my SG into a Real McCoy Customs RMC10 into a Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian into the Klon KTR into a Seymour Duncan Vapor Trails.

Chorus
Can we commiserate
You seem to be too late
I’m overwhelmed with hate
So what, who cares

Verse 1
I’ve no one to care for
I can’t really take more
It’s always a closed door
It’s all wasted and negated

Verse 2
Just give me a break please
And put your mind at ease
You’re so cold I might freeze
Hear the calling, always falling

Saved!
