Two-part tune. The first part is "Untitled," and the second part (based on the last bit of "Untitled") is "Sugar." We went for the slow version for the record. We also play "Punk Sugar" and have messed around with "Country Sugar" and "Reggae…

One of our two-part tunes. Bossa nova drums and bongos with middle-eastern-y guitars, followed by what's the heaviest ska tune you've ever heard, replete with some long double-kick runs.

Check out the quasi-reggae breakdown right in the middle. The chorus is in 7/8 with the exception of the last measure, which is 8/8. Mike does the backup vox.

The first recorded version of this song, this little folk song was originally written fifteen or so years ago with just the four chord rhythm guitar and single vocal. The song became what it is today when I needed to write additional verses for…

This was my "signature" track several years ago. I wrote this on guitar in the mid-90s while I was getting divorced, but later renamed it and recorded it…

yeah i can help you i can light your cigar
cause death is a friend we all meet in the end and none ever got away
speak for yourself, don't ever let the luster fade
maybe you could get a gun, destroy…
This is a great tune. Guitar tone is as Mr(Ms.[?]) launched said, "enviable," and that at the very least. Vocal tonalities are exquisite and absolutely appropriate for the tune. In my own extremely humble and unsolicited opinion, I think that the vox could "sit" a bit more comfortably with this damn-near-perfectly-recorded acoustic guitar. Perhaps bump up the vox a smidge and send both tracks to an almost inaudible, warm, and very tight plate reverb? Don't listen to me. Great tune and great production!
This is a first run at MIDI drumming. I have my kit setup to a new Alesis Trigger I/O box. It turns my drum kit in to a USB MIDI drum kit. Pretty cool toy.
Most of the kits I have in the software are dry to record. Obviously, the sound will…
Hang 'Em High is great, and you've achieved some good tones and captured a good performance with the Alesis. Not that it matters, but Simfonik Plague hereby approves! Good schtuff!
