Ah yes, Brian Eno is it? So maybe new bands won't feel like signing up with any record label at all in the future. Bands make money by going on tour. So how do they get heard enough so we all buy tickets to go see them? Maybe alonetone will grow into the answer?

The track starting at 10:50 is a favorite. Even before I heard the whistle from Akeakamai. :)

I love many things about this album. I like the base and guitar on the opening track.

I like what you do with the Brian Eno dialogue here - it fits right in to the music.

Finally managed to listen to this all the way though. I still have one or two more 24h EPs to listen to, but I'm pretty sure this is the best of the bunch. Su - you should do all your recordings in 24 hours :-) @kavin : yeah, Nobody Home is the one I was thinking of.

Funny I am sipping my coffee this morning listening to your song and I must say it it is very fitting for the moment. This song definitely has a nice rich blend and doesn't have any of those fake flavors . A perfect cup.

@Andrew I think I know what you mean. With the rate that information travels these days, I often find it hard to internalize and/or find a space to truly process and "feel" each event. Are we humanly capable of doing so? On top of that it's hard to hear my own true feelings and reactions above the chatter of the media, friends, etc. The footage this music was made for hit me hard. At the same time I was really annoyed with the announcers wanting to explain what was going on. I need silence when viewing something like this, a human talking over this footage is irreverent and shameful to me. Does that make sense? I made this piece of music because this is my silence, or put another way, an example of sound that hopefully respects the image by pulling the watcher in, giving them space to feel what this means and not babbling in their ear.

I agree with Wrinkled Shirt, digging the mood and guitars. Hope all is well out in Tucson!
