Geas heard my Zepfext that i'm having and sent me a little prezzie over in the form of this great backer....i found it quite a challenge and throughly enjoyed trying to crack the nut....you should have heard the first aahha it nearly cracked the…
The Big Bad Dog are Jon (Guitar) Gary (Drums)and I (Vocals)This song is the second run through of it ...so very early on but hey why not share......your gonna hear some more as we go on as i've started to record the practice sessions we have on…
AH! Here it is :)
And it's INSPIRED! Love what you've done with the piano - I wondered how you'd deal with making an arrangement... And the vox - woof!
Well, if Percy doesn't want to play, perhaps Mr Page ought to get in touch with you?
OK, I admit it, I don't really hold Led Zeppelin IV in the reverence many LZ fans do! I guess this song is one of the reasons for that... I'll give you A- on this one(!) but it's mainly the material you're forced to work with - tell them Page/Plant guys to buck their ideas up! hehe
another back to basics Zep this one goes out to Martin where ever he is ...he died getting on for 14 years ago but he's not forgotten ...Happy birthday for tomorrow man.....
Wasn't too sure where this was going during the intro, then when the vocals started I saw it all... This is a FABULOUS version. I've always had a love/hate/indifference relationship with this song. It's one of the few where Robert Plant's lyrics got in the way for me. But you carry it off superbly. At 5:26 I was left thinking "why isn't there more?"

Wildgeas sent me over this excellent backer and in return i sent him back a garbled vocal and a jumbled lead guitar and out of the pigs ear that i sent him ….the Surgeon that he is…cut and pasted and he has created a silk purse…i even sound…
I can't quite believe that I'm posting this, or that I've even recorded it. But I've played it like this sat on the sofa in the living room for many years, and I needed something to check out how to record a live "one vocal and one guitar" song…
Texas hold em poker, and going for it all. Open mic acoustic with some alt tuning. Percussion by Norm.
The kokiriko? Norms playing in there actually sounds like shuffling cards- particularly loving the glockenspiel addition he did…
This is one of the tracks off of my upcoming Album "Lightning Strikes" I signed with an Indipendent label back in July of this year and will be releasing my first album through them this month. "Best Of All" is an old school power ballad...Hope…

i wake up every morning with a look upon my face
it's called disgust
And we're all here to blame
i wake up every morning with something caught

This is a song about questions, especially after experiencing the loss of someone special.....here are the lyrics:
Down past the bridge
By Saint Peter‘s church
She hums a prayer
Her eyes blue and bare
She’s longing for comfort…
According to John this lyric was inspired by the weird visions of a former sports reporter who now thinks the people in high political places are actually lizard men from space. :D

I have to go through it.
I had to.

Now this one got me thinking... perhaps you should dip into the Howling Wolf catalogue itself? You've got the voice for it. Tasty blues vocal.
Whereas this one on IV... always liked it. Quite surprised how much I like it without all the bombast. Cool version.
