Not familiar with the original, but I dig this one! I like how you sing this one -- a hint of creepiness and somewhat in the back ground, the way Morrison sang many of his tunes that I am familiar with. Choice stuff happening with the guitar, and the double vocal section is really cool. Great job -- Rock on!
Rapunzel and vocal are live followed by an attempt at drumming and the Les wanted to join in so i let him hope you enjoy!!.....The unemployed.....Have they really got the life of Riley..Like they tell us....i for one don't think so
DREAM IS LIFE…
Except for the vocals, there's a Jefferson Airplane flavor. Interesting lyrics. I like what you put together -- good songwriting, and I certainly dig the late '60s taste.
I got up nice and early this morning thanks to Seb ....so i got the acoustic out and came up with this one ....Don't ask me why....

I ended up buying myself a Tanglewood TGRD VS E for my birthday and this is it's first outing with an old Doors classic i'm not a 100% the lyrics are correct as i must admit i have been drinking so i have Regged it a little but it is a 100% live…
I wondered what you'd get - sounds like a good choice.
And this is a fine version - who cares whether the lyrics are accurate... "just get the title right and no-one'll notice!!"
Here's me and the old Joanna live in the cellar for the John Lennon Jukebox ...i surprised myself on this one ....only a couple of fluffs on the piano..which with only three takes and reading the lyrics from the ipad is the surprise....hope you…

Another track done for "THE RPM CHALLENGE".
I like the favor of this one,it's really different from the stuff I'v done before. It's also the "bed" for another tune that will be up later.
"IN THE SKY".
Here is the solo dance version. It's rockin' pretty hard. I'm hoping to take this into a band setting at some point and get some brass involved, but for now...
New one from me. It's ended up as a bit of a "crying into yer beer at Bob's Country Bunker" sort of song lol...
I've been sat on these lyrics in some form or another for absolutely years. I first wrote them one very dark night a few years after…
Another song with Vili Ross. I wrote this one today......this morning and today was the first time I worked with Vili....and the two of us just get along, as persons and musically.
Another song James and I wrote together almost exactly half and half.
Vocals: James Johnston
guitars/backing vocals: Me
other guitars: JC Leach
Bass: John Schrader
Drums: Kevin Corum

Reworked the vocals a bit (quite a bit). And yet again! And now, Gumbo Stu is singing backup bits. Thanks for the vocals Gumbo, a very welcome addition!

Mark Morriss has written some really witty triple rhymes in a slightly country fashion, and I wanted to try it too. Although I am not sure if I succeeded, I had fun - and got…

A slightly schizophrenic pop song, with a vocal section that also betrays me wanting to be a Beach Boy. Worryingly there is actually a red sticky trickle that seeps…
This is in some boring typical genre. I just can't figure out which one. Perhaps Wiccan dances for epileptics? Not sure.
