A song about loss and the change it brings in a family; this was actually a live edition recording and I think it has something that the polished version does not. Enjoy!
An old song, written when I was in my REM phase; strange, it didn't seem to turn out anything like that in the end. This was also a live take where inexplicably, I changed the whole feel of the song this is the only version with this feel - enjoy…
My take on Gumbo's Keep Your Eye On The Spot, one of many excellent tracks from his RPM2011 album 'Cat's Moustache'. It's something of a departure from the original, though I was trying to retain an element of the gospel so hopefully its soul…

this is one for the over fifties
we strolled along
lost avenues
with no regrets
and nonchalance
who's kidding who
so confident
so bold and full
of bravado
when we were young
we knew it all
with certainty
you couldn't tell
cos we couldn't hear…
she will smother you with all her love
take you by the hand and drown you with passion
she could lead the blind astray
and break the will of stronger men than me
she will take your heart
she will take your soul
gently to her you surrender
yielding…
i posted a solo version of this song earlier, with just me on the juno. but on the day before i wrote and recorded it, i had been speaking to an old collaborator marcello prive from argentina and he said send me something anything, so when i recorded…

Excellent norm you really can get a beat out of anything ......we used to play bows and arrows with our Berinbau we just had a bit of string instead of wire and the wood was. Bit of elder kept us occupied for hours in the spiny wood and the only sound we made from it was the loud Fadunk when we let the reed arrows fly at one ofd the cowboys.....
This is a composition that was realized by playing a Fender Mustang which has a divided pickup connected to a Roland GR-20 guitar to midi converter / synthesizer. The GR-20 generated piano and saxophone sounds (in two passes) which were re-tuned…

Comments on thetworegs's stuff
You sound good live, unplugged, in a cellar! A fab recording. You miked and tracked this number quite nicely. Great job -- Rock on!
Nice one! That's a great song! Well sung mate.

Oh . . . . I like this.
Nice and raw like it. And thanks for your comment mate.
Super cool .. loving it .. on target ..
I'm impressed that you were able to make that work -- adding the drums later -- but you pulled it off, and quite well in fact.
Ou!!Arrrh!! It's that time of the year again.......
I'm into it -- an acoustic version of a classic hard rock song? I'm always open to that. The lead break was delicious -- groovy effect! Rock on!
spacey indeed!
Good job mate, works well...What drums did you use?
Just listened that album the other day...very well done acoustic version...
Love the album this came off - well done regs
Hell yeah, man -- be proud and tell 'em loud what you got to say that war just ain't the way!
Flip, that works... I wouldn't have thought putting drums on afterwards (with no click) would be the easiest option.
Trippy - like it :) You got drums!!! *jealous* I'm not allowed them - no space in Mrs R's office/writing-room, apparently...
Killer , killer ! yes!
Psychedelic Take on that tune.
