I picked up on one of Norm's wonderful grooves.
I added some bass, guitar, horns, and a basic drum track. Kicker and snare with a few cymbols. I didn't want to walk on Norm's fine, fine, percussion.
Thanks Norm for allowing me the opportunity…
Nice track man. Real somber feel and some smooth guitar and mix to top it off. :) thanks for listening to M.T.C radio as well. Glad you found a few you liked!! I do believe this labor day weekend I need to get some serious listening/recording done as well. Geas Radio will be playing loud and clear in my humble home!!
a sad walk through the devastion ......excellent.......I take it everything is ok with you and yours ...... I hope it is.......it looks real bad from the reports on the Tv...
the zoom H2 is battery operated - or if you wish it can use an adapter. The guitar I used is this one http://chrisvaisvil.com/?p=436 Brad converted. Any noise is from the Marshall amp which seems to have a ground problem - at least in the room its in at the moment. I haven't been listening much because I've been editing a lot of video and it brings my machine to its knees.
NOT FINISHED. another doo-doo draft. just putting it up here so that i kick myself in the pants to flesh it out and write verses and whatnot and redo everything. great!
Pro Tip:
No amount of multi take recording features will fix it when you're flat/sharp on *all* of the takes.

A cappella. Beautiful. really.
Good tip too. I have a bad habit of recording over, and keeping flat tracks thinking I might cover it up. Silly me.
Oh, and buy used books. The notes are already in the margin :)
The psyche is a weird place, I'll just talk about it musically.
The piece begins with the sounds of Sudara's autoharp, the weeping woodwind sounds of the clarinetist from Megafauna Lacrymosa , and a low kick-like percussive sound, which is…
Lyrics for 'Wild and Free' came while looking at a painting of the head of a horse. Composed by Julie Day and Grant Duncan in 2007, this rock song has a swing element to it. Enjoy.
This is one track where I can say, without reservation, that I am really happy with how it came out.
I worked up a beat I liked with 3 Stylus RMX parts making good use of chaos and time designer for the breaks.
For the first time I really…

First draft.
Dedicated to my mother on her birthday.
In the outro: Trombone, Horns, Clarinets, Mouthpiece buzz by Andy Hentz (arrsuarez) and organic drum related sounds by Glu.

Instrumentation: Director's comments included! beat boxing, real swords, acoustic guitar, synthesizer, vocals, drum programming, tabla, and tambourine. My apologies…

Mournful sounds...guitar tone is perfect for this one, and I really like the sprinkles of piano here and there.
