I picked up on one of Norm's wonderful grooves.
I added some bass, guitar, horns, and a basic drum track. Kicker and snare with a few cymbols. I didn't want to walk on Norm's fine, fine, percussion.
Thanks Norm for allowing me the opportunity…
Nice track man. Real somber feel and some smooth guitar and mix to top it off. :) thanks for listening to M.T.C radio as well. Glad you found a few you liked!! I do believe this labor day weekend I need to get some serious listening/recording done as well. Geas Radio will be playing loud and clear in my humble home!!
a sad walk through the devastion ......excellent.......I take it everything is ok with you and yours ...... I hope it is.......it looks real bad from the reports on the Tv...
the zoom H2 is battery operated - or if you wish it can use an adapter. The guitar I used is this one http://chrisvaisvil.com/?p=436 Brad converted. Any noise is from the Marshall amp which seems to have a ground problem - at least in the room its in at the moment. I haven't been listening much because I've been editing a lot of video and it brings my machine to its knees.
Since you've all been such good boys and girls this year, I decided I should give you all a present. Here is a song written by yours, truly, and sung by the incredible Inge Meijer. I can't say enough about what an great job she did on the song…
I SHAKE by James Michael Taylor
Ever since that night when you told me you were leaving me I shake, just a little, I shake.
Not so much that anybody else would even notice
I shake, Just a little, I shake.
Every time I read a book and…
Who to believe? relatives, who drop out over time? loved ones, that dissolve in the night? yourself one, without being sure of anything? to a stranger who disappears at the same moment? Perhaps the question itself is not correct.
I went over to Reg's place the other day and he sort of scared me. He was out on his deck, pitching butts and spilling gin that he couldn't afford. He was a mess and had a crazed look in his eyes. I could tell he was ruminating again about…
Solace did a version of this on their split ep with greatdayforup, loved that. Then heard the original by Rare Bird, even more loved that

Poor old Reg dumped again........and just before Christmas too....some women have no heart......

More ambient experimentation with my fretless guitar and Roland GR20. This time I used some sounds from the magnetic pickups as well as the midi pickup. Kind of a cheesy synth patch I know, but it was working for me!

Funky....
Beautiful, nostalgic feel. The use of strings is so perfect here.

Mournful sounds...guitar tone is perfect for this one, and I really like the sprinkles of piano here and there.

Classy tune E.R. - Stunning vocals, cool piano track, lots of sassy fun.
Sweet guitar playin' James. Nice!
Fabulous performance. Браво Бис - I do hope that's right :)
Diggin' that cool woody bass and your trumpet is golden as usual...
Inspiring track Greg. This is really good.
He was probably building a home studio. This is exactly what it sounded like when I built mine. Minus all that 5/4 stuff.
5 stars Will.
Love you vocals - Real professional.
Solid!
Very original Mr. Regs. Look at it on the bright side, at least you don't have to buy her a gift.
*BUMP*
:) that was fun.
Great track!
Lovin' that guitar sound. Sweet...
nothin' cheesy here. Roland makes great patches. I'm wondering if you can use both midi and magnetic pickups at the same time?
Five stars Brent.
I like that distant guitar. Nice touch. The whole T&T production is outstanding.
Absolutely faved. Real good man. Real good.
