Those guitars harmonizing with each other are pretty sweet! This is the best thing I have heard on this platform so far!

A world of yes. I too encountered this song in high school -- somebody had the CD reissue of the 7 inch and passed it around. I made a tape copy, as one did in those days, and listened to it until I Was Goth.

Wow. You really nailed that intro! Quick story: my high school girlfriend was obsessed with this song. She once played it on a loop for 54 hours straight (CD players had just become affordable and that repeat button was just too much for her to resist). When I came over to see her she was a little..... frayed. She really wasn't much of a goth, but she loved this song and the movie The Hunger. Okay, so maybe she was a little bit of a goth.

Nice work here. You should write "dumb three minute pop songs" more often.

The juxtopation of these two songs is perfect, the ugliness of the first intro of harsher nature into a neatly wrapped tune of beautiful melody. Coming into My Butterfly that feels like something Smith should have done in the first place. The completion of the thought from old to new is a wonderful idea. Great job Wilsun! --- *SORRY! *DR* Wilsun!

There is a bold move in purposely have dissonance be the intro of a song. You are nailing the Robert Smith.
