Hey thanks a lot, I am just getting into writing and recording so we will see where i end up. I am listening to your tracks now. The guitar sounds really good. What you playing?

Sounding good! I especially like the change at the 3:11 mark. Not that location matters, but you definitly have that New Zealand sound (which I mean as a compliment).
This is a song i wrote. My first go at recording. Vocals are a bit wobbley but im gonna redo em at a later date. Brian Bazeley plays bass on the track. Hope you enjoy it.
Wellll it's not really a mystery, it's a little Beatles remixing!! I've basically just mashed together Octopus's Garden and All My Lovin'.
Hope you like it!
toooons of fun makin it :)
What can I say? Something like this track has the potential to either be a novelty or brilliant. I don't think there's many musicians that would take a risk like this. You sir, created something that shines. This is amazing!
I was recording this riff at the kitchen table while my wife was making dinner for our three year old. The result speaks for it's self. Hope you enjoy it. Makes me smile.
Hybrid analog/digital rock and roll. I'm trying out some new guitar FX and amp sims in Pro Tools.
They are not so bad all distorted and fuuzzzzed
up.
I tried to sing it, but hey, you know, I give it hell though right?
It's a Goddess of War…
From RPM 2010. It's entirely analog synthesizer, drum machine, and my voice. Effects, too, of course. It's pretty repetitive, but I find it kinda catchy.
Instrumentation Demonstration to try applying the Gunslinger sound to a more bluesy progression.
Bass is a bass, guitar is a guitar. The drums are a digital pad kit connected to an Alesis trigger I/O to make them MIDI capable.
Generally, I…
This sounds really pretty. I'm going to have to listen to this when the kids aren't in the next room to fully appreciate the instrumentation. Your voice reminds me a little bit of Isobel Campbell.
You seem to have taken a page out of Guided by Voices book by writing this strange little track and making it just long enough to get stuck in my head, but not long enough to overstay it's welcome, so that when it ends I have no choice but to push the play button again.
You guys sound tight. Everything works so well together. You all sound like you've got some good chemistry between all band members. Thanks for posting this.
On youtube there's a short video clip of guitarist Shawn Lane (R.I.P) executing an extremely difficult chord voicing that requires extensive finger stretching, which Shawn calls "the hardest chord in the world." I altered the chord a little bit…
A storm I experienced while backpacking in the Uninta Mountains in northern Utah, this is my first song, ever. This is the second reworking of this tune. It tends to be more melodic, which is neither good or bad, just different. I think it jams…

Great tune, and I love the singing and strumming patterns.
Cool story telling in these lyrics.

I like your stuff a lot. I especially like the guitar riff in the opening. Your music reminds me of Sebadoh in their golden years. Nice!
I like the guitar solo and who cares if the vocals are wobbly? They sound just fine to me.

What a great chord progression. Nice production, too.
I love the snaky guitar sound.
I like the chord progression, and how annoyed your wife sounds with your daughter asking over and over if it's ready.
This sounds great. Have you ever heard of Bongwater or do know of the producer/musician Kramer?
That loop from the 13 second mark the 3:37 mark sounds really cool and slithery. I'm going to have to listen to this with the headphones on.
This is really good. Lots of changes to this track keep it moving and interesting.
I really like the chord progression on this one. The production is really good, too.
I dig the guitar solo. I was wishing it didn't end so abruptly.

I'm really enjoying your songs. These harmonies could make Brian Wilson retire from music.

This is a great song. I like the distortion on the guitar.
That guitar is on fire!
I dig how your extended, Pixies-esque jam session segues into a completely different song.
Wonderful! Would love to hear more please.
