This is well-assembled. The production is fantastic, as are the vocals. I like the atmospheric background sounds - it takes it up to the next level, IMHO.
hey al, its ur sister in law and mother in law, just listening to ur music and we really like it, mums bopping away as we speak, she spcially likes the light...catch ya laterz x
Didn't really work. Kind of lost the essence of the song by going a bit bonkers on effects and what not.
Will return to this (but a lot more simplified) in the future.. comments welcome!
I'd go back to your demo version, I really liked that. I don't like the strings in this version, and I think the melody is strong enough to survive without the extra effects.

This is a song inspired by the town i grew up in, and where I still live. Its a nod to the comfort I've enjoyed from being surrounded by the mountains of the Caerphilly basin. The verse lyrics acknowledge how little we tend to go to the places…

The lyrics are pretty selfexplanatory; it's about so-called magic-pill-solutions. The doubletracked "guitarsolos" could have been better but I only recorded them on the last day and thought it might be OK a little rough and off. I did them really…
There is a Dutch expression Luchtfietsen/Luchtfietserij which I transated as Skycycling. It's a term for unrealistic plans/dreams. Another recent Dutch expression is Linkse Hobby (leftist hobby/leftwing hobby) which was coined by rightwingers…
'm doing a course in Mandarin Chinese and mamahuhu is one of my favourite words. It means so-so (literally horsehorsetigertiger); "not so good". In this lyric I just allowed myself to whine about my situation; get it over with. I like the harmony…
Technically it's OK; I like the guitar and basslines. The lyrics and vocals I'm not so fond of. I hoped to have enough time to replace this one later in february with a better one but alas, it was not to be...
watch it.. he'll sue! He's done it before and he'll do it again. And he wont let the fact that its almost entirely different stop him. the doors werent safe. Beware Ray Davis. Genius. But complete nob.
Original song: from the album, TheSongOfTheDay.com - June. Featuring our friend, Qadree Holmes on vocals, this song goes out to all Notary Publics everywhere. The song came about when Jason was asked to notarize a few immigration documents for…
Original song: from the album, When I Was Your Age (which started off life as our RPM album for 2009). When I Was Your Age features songs that take a look back at when we were kids. If you're anything like us, Saturday mornings were about two…
Previously uploaded under the working title of "squiggle," but pretty much unchanged.
4 tracks feedback guitar,
1 drum machine
1 vocal (whistling) track -- not sure if the really out-of-tune parts are cool or awful.
Sorry for killing the comments…
EDIT final version now posted and the page turning is gone but i left this intro as is in case anyone is reading the comments. Does anyone read the comments? or the intro?
i turn a page somewhere in the middle of all this - you'd think i would…
Final version
Guitar, mandolin and voice.
this doesn't fit with my rpm project AT ALL so i may not use it but i like the way it came out. I recorded the music for Bethan Mathis' RPM project but she didn't have time to use it (her album is…
i dont know how. but although i really liked it i didnt fully connect with the power of the emotion in this till this listen. im completely in love with it. i have regular regretful momments. this will be an ideal soundtrack when i need it out of my system
I'm finally happy with this track - v1 was too much of a nothing song and it's been bugging me all the way to the last night of the challenge.
1 more to mix
Final version
Every so often when i'm thinking of something else a western song pops up as if there is a soundtrack to a movie running in the back of my head. I might have to gather em all up into a playlist some day.
track nine, or at least…

I really like this. DL'd AND faved, which is rare for me to do. This has great atmosphere and some nice subtle psychedelia.

intriguing music, and the way the lyrics flow so nicely and are sung, reminds me a bit of Supertramp. Great guitar & drum work on this.
