Writing while I drive with voices in my mind
Passed along by friends I’ve never met
Trying to stay alive in one place in time…
I am really impressed that you only used one microphone! You have a really pleasant and earnest voice....a little like John Denver, who was my first influence on guitar. This is a GREAT tune! A great start.
Reg is back on the drink there was no escaping it. He found out that Desirea was not what he thought she was, she had been telling him lies and his hopes were dashed again.............. theres a little mess up on the Xylophone but what can you…
Reg has decided that he doesn't want hurting again so he has decided to be up front about what he wants.................. Love me for who I am........
Love me, Love me, for who I am
Love me, take me for what I am…
Aahhhh yes. i love a good piano tune! Nice stand up bass too. Love those dramatic vocals! This song has a nice, universal theme that everyone can relate to. Cool.
A tale of keeping your head above the water, or not...
Recorded Jan-Feb 2011.
I wrote it many years ago, never thought I'd ever do anything with it.
I intended to record this with just an acoustic and my new EDB (electric upright bass…
Geez, you have a great voice! I love your sense of drama in your tracks. I don't know it you used real or programmed drums, but they sound great. This is a great song, and on my fave's list now too.
Acoustic tale recorded Christmas 2010.
I wrote it years ago. Even tried rehearsing it with the band I was in at the time. But I couldn't play it properly. It took several weeks of practicing DADGAD (never really used it in anger before) until…
What a tune...what an imagination you have! I love the tone on the guitar, not to mention the playing. Great vox and background harmonies. This is just awesome. Very impressed.
For 2011 RPM Challenge album John the Resonator
A Sword and Sorcery parody. With Elvis.
Daughter Brit sang the vocal in the middle part.
Elvis was the mountain king

DREAMS OF THE OCEAN
Your kids'll be waking up in the morning
Just a couple of hours after mine have gone to bed
I've got the coffee warming
While dreams of the ocean are in your daughters' heads
I taught them all 'bout it late last evening…
Wrote this one late evening, during an impromtu outdoor concert on the farm in Oregon. I was sitting on the knoll, at the outer edge of a circle of oaks and maples, looking out over the fields, meadows, and the woods beyond, that formed a natural…
This song described my co-workers at one company during a temporary assignment. I won't mention the company for fear of being sued, but you get the idea what they were like.

Post RPM jammin'. I don't feel much like cleaning up after RPM. Not yet anyway. I think my little Casio took a beaten and went out of tune. I did this arrangement with just the Casio, guitars and
harmonica, hence the annoying piano and strings…
This is a filler piece for this cool new CD I'm working on. I got this Clint movie thing working pretty good :) Think of it as our hero horsebackin' it across the plains in the land of the big sky.
I think the piano has a bit of Robert Nichols…
Hi folks,
It's good to back after RPM and the blackout of 2010.
A couple firsts here. I recorded this 100% with the computer. I never plugged in to a computer before.
I've always used a Roland VS machine and burnt my
songs/tracks to SCSI…
Straight ahead stone city electric blues for an old friend who used to spend hours spinning BB King and Mike Bloomfield records for me. Recorded back sometime at the end of 2006 on old analog equipment

Sweet, sweet slide playing! I had to favorite this one. This reminds me of CSNY. Great guitar playing. PS, I love that cover!
What a title! If I was still a smokin' man, I would be listening to this over and over, lol!
The title drew me in......what a cool Led Zep vibe! This is heavy, I love it!
Beautiful. Lovely vox and guitar.
Oh man....., this brought a tear to my eye. Just beautiful!
This is gorgeous. I sure do love her voice. A winner!
Man, I feel your pain here. But, about the music...very nice folk-rock feeling! Nice tune.
He he...I totally love this! My daughter used to say Basketti too! Music to eat by!
sophisticated, yet light soundtrack music. I dig the synths and the percs. Nice stuff!
Now that is experimental gooviness!
well, this sounds pretty amazing for someone who is just learning midi and ProTools at the same time. Very impressive.
Beautifully played guitar. I love the tone you got here, both the clean and overdriven sounds.
Very cool, I love the harp and the vocals sound like you really mean what you are singing. Great trad acoustic blues sound.
