And here we go - Edith FINALLY gets it...
Actually, she's been getting it ever since I wrote it on the 29th May. I thought it would take a week or so, but it proved to be more of a fight than I was expecting.

Well, I'm almost on a roll now - this little love song was written, arranged, and recorded in just a week. I've been meaning to attempt something like this for years, just never got round to it.
I'd actually settled down to finally record a…
A new one...
I wrote it on 5th February, and managed to record it in less than a month (a head-cold and lack of hearing in one ear slowed the last lap somewhat).
But seeing as the last one took over 8 months, I think I'm already ahead for…

Pop-rock song. Recorded 2009.
I wrote this several years earlier and rehearsed it with the last band I was in.
The recording was my first "serious" project on my Boss MBR, I was stunned that you could do something like this on a little silver…
Do love a golden oldie, great song, as I record on a Boss, we love Mr. Boss : ) And yes could be on any Family album ..... are you sure you're not Roger .....

Many years ago I lived in an apartment in a big city. One day I just gave it all up and moved to the country so I could do the things I want. I This is a tune I made back then and has been in the back of my mind and I thought I would see what…
Never been happy with the original mix as it butchered Phil's drum work. He did an amazing job, and deserved better. So this is better...not as good as his playing, but better than it was.

My second entry for Beatlesfest II at Songcrafters. This is a cover from the John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band album.
Dueling novachords help tell the story of a world where the future may not be so bright...
Thanks for listening.
It's hard to go wrong with this tune... but this is just gorgeous. Love the arrangement. I find myself drifting between following the melody and following the accompaniment.
Masterful stuff.
This one is a bit off the beaten path for me, but was fun to record. It has some great tonal coloring happening throughout, so take a listen. See if you can guess what it's about...
I played this one fairly straight. It still sounds a lot like the raw 30 second idea I recorded on my phone in an elevator in Chicago in early Feb of 2010 and discovered this RPM season. It's not about what you think it is.
This song sounds like a lonely road by the beach in the late summer/early fall. Try it out when the weather is cooperating with you. Then, reflect on who you are.
Sometimes we decide to do things just to find that it takes more than making a decision to actually do things.
WASTED TEARS
There'll be no wasted tears running down my cheek
There'll be no wasted cries in my troubled sleep
No wasted hours…

Comments on Andrew Russe's stuff
Huge and mighty, as usual, Mr Russe. (Poor Edith, happy or not, I do wish she was getting something like a hotdog or a gun.)
@Jane So dead puppies and 3-In-One in the knicker drawer is ok then? LOL
You can't do that to kittens! :o Other than that - magnificence :)
wow!!!! Your voice is just epic!!! I love the pacing of this song. It makes me want to know all the backstory about Edith. An instant fav...
Love the slide! What a great song. No one warns us that vowel sounds matter when writing lyrics, but you nailed it.
Brilliant ...
So very cool. Not my place, but I wish the outro was also the intro. I like what I like. I liked that very much.
Really really good. I thank you.

Ooh yeah, love the skipping/bubbling rhythm.
Haven't heard the original mix, but I love this.
Wonderful music.
Don't know the original at all... but this sounds gorgeous.

Yep... it is ok already :)
That is one gorgeous guitar sound.
Monstrously good. Shivers down the spine good.
Aw... just peachy. You make backing vox sound just so effortless. And that's a cool guitar break, very cool.
And then the sudden change! lol (I thought it was someone else's track! - but then my friends the geetars came back)
Gnarly geetars... Like it :)
Woo - lots happening in here. Cool sounds. Nice one.
That's a gorgeous sound.
Heartfelt stuff. Very thought provoking...
Yep :)
Why have I not listened to this before???? Brilliant.
This is fabulous stuff. Really inventive playing and writing, and a superb voice on top of it all. I shall be back for more.
Wow, and it was live!
Flip! I like what you folks are doing.
Woo! This sounds good.
