Hi Brett...it's been a while, I'm tuning in exclusively to catch up on your BRILLIANT music! Starting with this one....AMAZING. Different from your music that I'm familiar with.
Hi Brett! Thanks for checking in. I've been away too long, trying my hand at other art. My fellow Prood members are itching to do some more music, so maybe soon.
I haven't logged in in a while, and I'm pretty excited to go through all of your tracks I haven't heard yet, so you're sure to hear from me soon.
Rock on!
2010
Depeche Mode lite
I was going to hire Meatloaf for the ending but it turns out he will NOT work for pancakes... which is what I had heard.
This is one of the prime examples of (early on) being WAY more ambitious than what my ability…
Trying not to flood you with comments! but this is my favorite so far. Has an early 80's Peter Gabriel flavor to it... well to my ears at least. Keep up the good work, enjoying it thoroughly.
ccol beans, I like the fact that it's like candy in a blender, but I feel like the song could actually work as a more conventional, repetitive electronic pop song eg. more of the beginning and 1:40-1:55.
Hey, beautiful song, sir. One of the better tracks you've done in a while, I think! If you could get a nice female voice on harmony, that'd really put it over the top.
Poor old Reg just can't seem to stop his old ways and leave them behind....i'm not sure he even tries you know............
Lost Lyrics)
The days go by
sometimes i’m high
sometimes i’m lost
sometimes i fly
High
most days i’m lost
the time…
This is an ode for a good friend of mine that had took his own life at the end of last year. I was in the midst of writing some other songs and it stopped me in my tracks. I just wrote basically how I felt about this tragic ending to a very special…
Cover of one of my favortie Beatles songs, from the White Album.
I actually bought a capo for this, after 30+ years of thinking capos are for wimps.
The Songcrafters.org Beatles II fest prompted me to go ahead and record it.
Comments on Brett Warren's stuff
Such wonderful sounds… I have been gone too long. Well met friend.
A lot of good sounds in this tune. BTW, thanks for listening to my songs. :)
This is perfect ambience!

Great posts recently.. I particularly liked this one!
😎
Fun stuff!
This reminded my of Jungle line by Joni MItchell, though listening to that now they don't sound super similar. Just the feels I guess!
let's go!!
Wow I feel like this could have come straight out of Kate Bush's woodshed
👍🏼
Strangely hypnotic with the repeating note and then the tinkles and wotnot. Works really well for me.
So I'm following a feminine ethereal being through green wisps and flowers and waterfalls...just for a moment, an unbroken world.
Belongs in a road movie, at night, weaving through dark underbelly streets, just because.
Ignoring the surprisingly alluring mental image of you belly dancing, this is a cool mix of intrigue and ambience!
Love this. Moody and ambiguous…back in the day, this would have made a really cool b-side.
hi Warren you asked for this ages ago, here is the full version of suppers ready https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=10708
I would implore you to not quit. Ultimately don't we all make music for ourselves? Strangely beautiful piece!
thanks, man.

Really good. Eccentric, strange, bubbly, gets in your head.

ooh yes, this got my attention around the 1:27 mark. It could definitely go on a lot longer.
See, this is refreshing. It's brutal but doesn't have to resort to dub-step cliches in order to do so.
Awesome, just awesome.

thanks, jip
nicely done!
hey, thanks Tess, Jane!
Ooh, nice. This is great. sweet and manic, so much rapid movement without fumbling over itself.
Thanks again, James. Thanks for listening, SMYoS.
good song, Reg, I like the strings, it sounds like they're cut off at the tail end, giving em a strange choppy feel.
very nice, usually your music goes through several stages, this is an interesting change of scenery... hypnotic and cyclical
Good song, James. I like the EP, it's like the Flaming Lips' more conservative cousin. Sunny textures, pleasant melodies, good work!
thanks for the comments, citizensane, thanks too, james. 'preciate it!
Sounds great, man.Good mix, excellent vocals. Love it.
