Outasite!
A little scratch track from a few months ago. A song about the trials and tribulations of being 11 years old. Watching Six Million Dollar Man, dodging bullies and pretending our bicycles were Harleys.
I was at a friends house and saw a little box on her shelf, so we also get some Flute by Gwen :)
This is so strange I had to post it!
All recorded on my Boss Micro BR
Thanks for these hip sounds ..and for the info.. (YEAH, man!! 'OUTASITE' lyric, tones, production val.s, attitude) Blessings, senor.
Sorry,my bicycle was a Norton Command 850,but hey thats loyalty...the rest resonates ! Jarvo
This is the classic Launched style, the spook baby, its got it. I love this kind of sound you get here.
Second listening. Still like it. I've never been an eleven year old boy, but I have two boys, so I think I've seen them in this moment. Love when the guitar comes in. Love the vocals, too.
I swear I was dancing in front of my computer. Thanks for the boogie moment (and 45 seconds).
oh and here I am re-visiting this one... oh my.. greatness it is. Love that sound.
cool! it took me back to the time when my friends and i could ride our bikes for 10 hours straight without getting tired.
ooooh kick as track, but when the guitar kicks in it makes it even better. Nice one man!
that was an ill bass line!
sodamncool
and oh yea!! It appears I made it look as if Jamie Somers and I played war together in the woods. And it ALSO appears to be that I made it look as if she had a thing for barbie dolls too..sooo.. . I have to say..it's allll true. heh.
oh yea...she is selling mattressesseses.. I still think she's ..whishtle whistle...foxy and hot and what not. ofcourse this is coming from a guy who had an idea for a video..as follows. Guy humps earth...and copies of he and mother earth are spewed out from volcanoes. I can even hear the sounds efx now. lol.
grin
I used to put card in my spokes...I preferred to think it was a dirt bike. Def. used to watch the six million dollar man too. And don't forget the bionic woman. I had a crush on her..ahhh...Jamie Somers. The last name fit..when you looked at her, the feeling was like a beautiful summer day. We used to play war in the woods too.. lol. Used sticks for guns. Hmm...we even liked our friends sisters barbie dolls. lol. Not dressing them up...but the opp. ohhh keennnn....oh barbie... lol. Speaking of barbie...have u seen black hole sun?
Oh cool, pity it's too short. I was just getting up a head of steam there.
Big fat fave.
I remember all those things you mentioned (except Gwen's flute). Cool song. Really interesting bass.
I think the flute tie in was a great idea, the lyrics are cool and nostalgic too, great track
Yeah. All us fellas can relate to this. Excellent track Mark.
I'm a big fan of your bass lines. I know you had a blast with this tune. Cool lyrics too, showing us all your age bro!
Rocks.
