Mikey, this whole RPM is excellent listening!!! Well done all around, and thank you for giving beautiful voice to the kinda anxieties and thoughts we have surrounding this pandemic and the way it’s been and is being handled. Put that with your wonderful production, and it’s art. You are artful! Congrats on the record and RPM completed!

Begin to see me, worthy Sailor, navigator
Living on the ocean for days
The spirit of the sea lies below us
Above us, dark skies of gray
I just can’t let it go
The search for the grail has gone cold
But a wreck of a ship lies below us…
I got tired of playing by the rules. (The album concept was using only portable instruments which I could carry in one trip.)
This track uses every functional piece of gear I own at least once. In no particular order . . . TR-606, TB-303…
When I was five, my mother gave me a little stuffed animal, a hippo, and though I tried I could not think of a name for him, so I called him Nothing. Nothing the hippopotamus. I was in the yard playing with Nothing when I made up the Nothing song, and I sang it all day. This February is the first time I have recorded it.
my mother would love that.
RPM 2022. I finished a song.. does that count?
Well the early bird
Catches the worm
Eats it up
And shits it out
Onto the lawn
And into the dirt
Where the worms crawl
And use the soil to form
To be eaten once more
By the early birds…
RPM 2k22
sigh
waiting through the night
but you're not coming over
thought you were my lover
same
every night and day
every single moment
now you have to own it
sighing, the emptiness
the last caress, fading away
crying, the tears…

My fav he man figure! This is nostalgia. This bass reminds me of the bass in Pilotwings for SNES

...there is nothing like a dead line to charge ones imagination.
This is great. Getting Paul McCartney vibes from this. The sort of ditty you can teach little kids to sing.
When we first signed up, we chose World music and Field recording as our style of music, hence this song.
So good
Magical
Intriguing turn this butty.
I really enjoy this track. So simple and yet resounding so heavily.
There goes Moody putting us all in our place again. Just remarkable. Absolutely remarkable.
Very Lovely!
What an Excellent departure! Now get back to the metal!
Well this is oddly inspirational.

Another beautiful piece of storytelling through haunting voice and gentle music
You sing these words perfectly … I am just in awe of your story telling
