The island of Cuba was a Spanish possession for almost 400 years (1511-1898). The land-owning elite held social and economic power, supported by slaves, both indigenous and of South American and African descent, until slavery was abolished…
A little rough but I loved making it.
My friend Dave had bought a Roland GR-20, so it was critical he did the solo in the middle and end :)
Oh, all made on the Boss Micro BR. Love that thing!!
This was fun to make!
I got me a new Cajon.
This is the first time recorded it (or played it for more than 30 seconds to be honest. My son keeps telling me to be quiet, then jumps on to it himself... ).
Thank you G man for Playing guitar on this. Luv ya bro…
Why bounce I don't know maybe cause it wants to make you bounce.
Something I recorded a couple years ago using a Digitech RP350, drums are from the RP350. Rythm, Lead and Bass were all recorded on a CP60 Strat, bass was an effect on the RP350.
Lyrics:
======
I hate you when you breathe. Could you stop?
Waking up is hard to do when sleep never comes
But your ugly faces woke me up...
Callous sycophants
I know you too well to rest again
I'll stay up forever. I'll be ready
I've seen…
Art of Love #1
these are my piano moment pieces arranged for other instruments, hence the name,, in a way it's kind of interesting to use one piece of work in more than one way ,,, Richard
and yes this version was put up 1st about 4 months…

Ha! Well, you have a point. In Reg's world, there is a woman named "Ilesa". But I have not been in the pantry with her. Most of the women in Reg's world scare me to death!

It blows my mind how much expression you can make with pure drums -- awesome stuff!
I really like your style -- I normally don't go for pure percussion, but you definitely make it work!

Have always loved this song. Awesome! Carol
That's not the way Reg tells it...
Deeply affecting vocal! Who's the singer? Wow!
"Ilesa" is a percussion pattern, not a woman! Otherwise I would have not taken the risk of being caught with her in the pantry!!
