Experimenting with the bass sound in this track is what made bass the focus of my RPM album, where previously I hadn't given much thought to bass tone.
hey thanks for the comments, dave. I'm listening to you thinkin' I'm hearing The Band reincarnate. Nice you got the "lo-fi" majesty to follow the call. Recorded it live, with a four track tape deck, never played it again, it was a jam. Still haven't figured out how it all goes.
What can I say? well, thanks for the comments! It still amzes me that my solitary style (when the whole song is me myself and I) makes it over to you all. And that you "get" what I try to do in the arranging, that it's ok to emphasize the mood…
The next step in the progression of this song... It still needs quite a bit of cleanup (and some extra arranging), but it's getting there.
