I like this one. The slow rock beat and the guitar sound on the solos tells me you were getting out some anger or strong feelings when you did this. ER

A cover of a 2010 RPM Challenge song by A Beautiful Scene. Lyrics: Pouring Rain by A Beautiful Scene This year I thought of you, far too many times And it’s made me think Of things that’ve become over there and they… And how do I know…

I love your take on this song! this is one of those songs I wrote and recorded in one night, so the guitar wasn't really thought out. You made it sound beautiful. I love the second guitar in place of the organ as well. Very well done sir.

This was the first track i demo'd for this year's RPM but i just got round to tidying it up and adding the third verse. A bit of a feel good record!

From the Himitsu jam sessions. Electronic punk jazz or almost anything else. A group of 3 to 5 musicians meeting weekly to just play. All improvisation, no planning or themes, just what you bring. Our guitarist led this 5 player piece, though…

a song of airiness and quietude, the last 30 seconds or so seem to be either drawn out or very quiet or lost?

To me is very difficult to describe this song, but I like it.

Poured myself a small cup of acoustic guitar, half finger picking, half ebow. Nothing fancy, nothing magical, nothing fantastical, just something to relax through.

Also known as Cooking With Condiments! A snack. Nothing much of substance in the cupboards or fridge, but doesn't mean you should go without eating.

My bass player at the time really loved thick women and so I wrote him a song. It's him singing on this one.

We move miles away from Bristol trip-hop and take a trip to Paris. This Daft Punk-inspire piece really allowed me to lighten up a bit during the lonely production stages.

You live long enough... you take some real hits. And the only way to get on, is, to, "Pick myself up, walk down the long long road". Lifes real easy when it's all theoretical, but it's never been lived until the theories and philosophies are trashed…

Paper Girls is one of those tracks which I wrote based on my experiences that I hope others can relate to in their own way. Soft, breathy vocals courtesy of Anezka Piska.

Whoa. What an awesome sound. The singing evokes a folk or maybe even country song, and then the organ drones and syncopated percussion refer to hip-hop.
