I like your style, friend.

After an adventure in re-recording the entire song down a third, we came back to the original, tightened and tuned. Always the self flagellating perfectionist, it still needs a bit more love. Always the pragmatist, it is probably done for now.

The more I listen to this the more my heart soars with pride for both of you wonderful creators of this beautiful music.

"Sorrow" was written in a dark day. I put it together on my laptop and had it sitting in there for awhile. Once I started to compile tracks into an album I found it again and loved it. One of my favorite pieces I have done yet.

titi monkeys duet in the mornings with their mates. I thought a smooth R&B groove would be most suitable for this sample.

i really love what you're doing, using your own field recordings of environmental sounds as sampling material. do you know stephen vitiello's work? less beat-oriented, but touching on some similar ideas of "sound ecology". keep these tracks coming.

Funk for freeing souls. I finally put my finger on what's wrong with people. I had 'Hippie!' shouted at me from a passing car last week and this was the spontaneous out pouring.

I'm enjoying this, I could listen to this again. The poetry, an oriental arrangement have a peaceful feel to them.

This song was made with only two short bird samples. 1) A wild screaming pija and 2)parrot. I made it last night after taking an antihistamine for all the chigger bites. paz.
