I love those unexpected minor notes in the melody. Lovely lovely lovely! Perfect match for the wonderful lyrics. I know a shady spot like that I think!
I usually play bottleneck Dobro in Open D tuning.
This is much more melodic than that old Dobro screaching away like a couple of crows on a fencepost.
I pulled out my Low D Irish whistle and played along with you this morning.
