The song verse is very poetic and lovely. I personally would love to hear it sung as quiet so without the background singing. Also would like to hear it without the twang.

I usually play bottleneck Dobro in Open D tuning.
This is much more melodic than that old Dobro screaching away like a couple of crows on a fencepost.
I pulled out my Low D Irish whistle and played along with you this morning.
