Love it intro is great, especially when Colleen says we are in Greg's recording studio!! (can I book a few hours?) outstanding song and great vocals all around, sweet harmonies!! I can't believe how good a sound you get recording live at the coffee table...no phones ringing, no dogs barking, no one yelling "turn it down"....ha ha........ I name this band LoDillCo
It's been a long time. Too many distractions and not enough time, or even focus to play lately.
Somehow this song, "Higher Ground" squeaked out from some hidden place.
a small quiet piece for a Sunday evening,, all four string sections are present here,, violin, viola, cello and contrabass,,it's kind of fun to try to mix, and pass the various themes around,,
I haven't mixed the song yet - it's really raw. Hopefully, I'll have it done by next month.

You took my heart
And broke it apart

I wrote this little ditty back in May, did an acoustic demo and then played it to one or two people. I always meant to do something a bit more, er, "expansive" with the thing... So I stuck it in the corner for a bit and forgot about it.

From the early 70's...an old Crusaders tune with Larry Carlton..I bought this licensed backing track with no guitars....so the guitars are me... drums , Bass and keys are the backing track..
This version of the song tells more of how we felt when we wrote the song. It is very much who we are. So you get a better picture of us in this version of Sabbath.

wonderful folk song, full of images that somehow take me off the range as well. Much enjoyed.
Congrats on being able to retire. I probably never will. You got much more than stories left, sir. You got songs!

Stopped back for another listen.
Very pretty.
This is good. Lots of feeling. I don't know why . . . It makes me want go grab my harmonica and play along.
Good song . . . Harmonica sounds good too. I like the talking part. I'm with Andrew. We should have had one last party, clothing optional.
Oh . . . That's pretty! 2 hours? You are cooking! Nice guitar work.
You gotta love a song that holds the phrase: *"I got over lovin you, come out of it alive"* I really enjoyed this one Terry!
Nice and tight. Very clean recording. Well done Andrew. It would be fun to hear the acoustic version.
SWEET . . . Good Gawd !!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice sounding guitars there, my friend.
Very Pretty!
Nice Harmonica Playing Mark! I don't know why you wanted me to post this song on my site. The LAW is going to find you either way!
I'm impressed. Nice playing James!
You can really get some great tone on the guitar to go with those nice licks! That first beer went down fast. It's a *"two beer"* song for me.
Good *Old Fashioned* Folk Song
Lots of trouble . . . but still happy! That's the way to do it!
Ron . . . You got me laughing out loud !!!
Thanks Terry. I corrected my mistake.
I just got back from vacation and what do you know . . . more great music from *FDR*. It's a *GOOD LIFE*
I think I wrote this during the Perseid a few years ago. We sat out in the yard in the lawn chairs at 3:00 AM. Nice version my friend !!!
Fantastic tone on the guitar!
Good song with well written lyrics.
