Full moon, full of mystery
Full moon, shadows thru the trees
I can feel your spell, I’m beggin at you please
So long I been straight and true
No wrong has come into view
I can feel that dark side, all because of you
Way down…

I had fun singing this at the open mic this past week.

Singin' the blues! I think the first 2 lines are the same as "Blue Night", but then it goes off into it's own realm. There's nothing like a reso for the blues. One of these days I should pick up a decent one. BTW - resophonic/dobro with slide is getting really popular here. There was just a big festival going on down in Moscow recently.

This put a big smile on my face. The percussion is like nothing I've heard before in the Connor universe. That's a hip bass and drum combo, but the vocals and guitar are classic -- a mighty tasty fusion of styles. Very interesting, intriguing even. The blend of vocal tracks is particularly groovy. Some sweet picking there, bud! I'm taking this out for another spin!
Growing up in Ohio we used to see the signs the hoboes left on trees and mailboxes. Bits of ribbons and cloth-signifying friendly,and-cold hearted bastards who'd sic the dogs on you.
a new song I'm working on ... recorded on an iphone ... lyrics below ... enjoy (or cry your eyes out ...) ... love to hear what you think.
It's been a year, four months and a day
Since that time you slipped away
Disappeared right out of…
I'm amazed you recorded this on an iphone. It's very good quality for that.
Your guitar sound great, the lyrics tell a sad story, but are delivered well.
I thought I was going to have us record a cleaner version of this - this is a live take from a Christmas service. I wrote a song to tag along after the end of one my favorite songs ever, The Star Carol. Today's endless streaming of snow, still…
This year will be my fifth year coaching one of my daughters in tee ball, and although I played ball competitively into my thirties, coaching the kids is easily the most fun I've ever had on the diamond.

Had to really push the good wife sing this one. After a couple of years of serious health scares she had lost all confidence in herself. Glad I did my 'Phil Spector' trick on her. ( No gun involved !! )
This song was written on guitar by Kari Eskola from Finland. He sent me his guitar track along with this fantastic vocal recording by Emmi Inkeri asking me to replace the guitar with a piano accompaniment.
I tried my best, knowing that I'm not…
I promised you the world again
Everything within my hands
All the riches one could dream
They will come from me
I hoped that you could understand
That this is not what I had planned
Please don’t worry now
It will turn around
Cause I need more…
Ok lets get some oldies out, this and the next two tracks was recorded on my old recording studio machine. Ah, the good old days, rose tinted glasses of course !!! Or is it just me ......
I was thumbing a ride along a hot, deserted Caribbean road. When Steve pulled up in this vintage pre-war Chevy, I was very grateful. It just so happened he was heading to the same cantina I was, so we kicked back with a pitcher of mojitos…
After the tragic events of the last few days, I felt compelled to upload an old song I wrote in 2007.Tragically a young Soldier girl was killed in action in Iraq. She was just 19 years of age. I had to have a rant !!! I apologize in advance if…
Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
A master class in song writing and playing Greg
Lovin' that harp playin' Greg. Don't get much better. Just cool!
Another excellent mix and balance of voice and all the instruments.
Nice tune!
Sounds like Jim Morrison vocals and with the skill of Bob Dylan guitar and harmonica at the same time
We're all clucked up over this one!
Nice "stuff"

I'm with Ron on the swamp rock feel, and with Colleen about the movie soundtrack material. As always, without fail, a great job!

Huh, full moon last nite , why do I think you wrote this this morning?
Good ear Ron! Yes, that's my old Dobro, built in 1973 tuned to open D and played with a slide.

Good Lyrics and your guitar playing is always a treat.
It's a Chart Buster! The birds really got my attention. Is that a 12 string? Yahoo . . . Spring is coming !!!!
I like it. It just bounces along effortlessly.
I'm amazed you recorded this on an iphone. It's very good quality for that. Your guitar sound great, the lyrics tell a sad story, but are delivered well.
A nice unexpected surprise! Well Done!
Yes, this is a good one! I'll put it on the "Spring Time" album when the time comes.
Nice Rich guitar sound, and melancholy vocal. Good combination.
Interesting ... It brought to mind a video that I have of the Grateful Dead.
Good lyrics . . . as usual. Great "Easy Listening" Song!
A provacative story, and the scary thing is that it's true.
I got a big smile out of this one! Great way to start a Monday.
Nice Relaxed Presentation with Good Vocals
Very refreshing!
This has the delight of the evening, and the dull throb of the morning after ..... all in one! Happy St Patrick's Day my Friend
Ah ... A Lovely tune indeed.
This is a beautiful song, and the piano and voice are wonderful.
What a great refreshing song!
I can just about picture you with rose colored glasses singing this song. It's very light and happy.
Pass me something with Rum in it. I'm feeling tropical.
Sad song but unfortunatly a very current topic right now.
