Take me where the water goes

Oh yeah, faved immediately.
I bought some blues harmonicas once - this'll be easy I thought... NOPE! lol (I ended up giving them to a harp player I knew)
I might try again one day, and it's performances like this that make me want to do it.
Fine song, fine everything :-)

I went over to Reg's place the other day and he sort of scared me. He was out on his deck, pitching butts and spilling gin that he couldn't afford. He was a mess and had a crazed look in his eyes. I could tell he was ruminating again about…
More ambient experimentation with my fretless guitar and Roland GR20. This time I used some sounds from the magnetic pickups as well as the midi pickup. Kind of a cheesy synth patch I know, but it was working for me!
This is a collaboration with Greg Connor (check his song list here) Greg wrote this about his Heritage Millennium guitar and Heritage guitars company in Kalamazoo. He sent me his vocals and rhythm guitar track and I added lead & bass guitars…
This was completely written by Andy...he wanted to enter this in a song writing contest for a Humane Society thing in England...the song had to be about a dog's poor life and death alone.....I think he did a great job all I added was the guitar…
Well I see it's that time of the year again, where did that year go .......So here's an old one from 2007. Got my Grandson to sing on it, something to embarrass him with when he's older. He's 10 next week, so he was 5 at the time. Bless !!!
My father's Uncle Roy ran shoe repair shop in Mt Pulaski from 40's till in the 80's or so.

I step out of the car
I don't know where we are
Somewhere between a planet
A planet and a star
I never dreamed I'd end up
in a place like this
The Multnomah Falls is up the Columbia Gorge
Somewhere between Portland…
Closure The look in your Eyes
Took me by supprise
back to a better place
Where I could feel
Oh how we breathed the air feels much lighter now.
You talked of us.
We spoke of trust
I heard your words today
A promise i'll keep
if you should…
I got me a new mic and a pre-amp and I picked up the Jumbo Eko (I'll do this again when my fingertips have recovered). I tried to do finger picking when I was a teen, but didn't pursue it as it seemed like too much hard work at the time. Today…
This is the third, maybe forth time I recorded this tune.

My attempt at Folk music !!!! I blame Seth Lakeman, after seeing him in concert this popped out. Been meaning to re-record it for months, now seemed a good time....... as we survived the Cruise !!!!

Great feel to this one Greg....love it!!
Good one Greg
It's got that great R&B country vibe Robert is right a little crying steel would blend in well.
It's GREAT as is. But if I had a pedal steel and knew how to make it cry...
mind is just running away with no end.Just all thunked up again.
Mighty fine song. I like how you've controlled all those guitar parts to make a smooth rolling track. And like B sez - that whistle is gorgeous.
I keep forgetting to sign when I'm on this account, that was Bethan, Greg!
That's a beautiful piece of songwriting. Lovely whistle too!
I have to say without Delay. This song is Swell
Low-down and dirty blues! LG

If this is bored, then we're the benefactors. Beautiful melody.
Yes, sad song, but well written. You guys did a nice job on it. I especially liked the intro.
This is special . . . nice duet.
It's fun to catch up to you again Verne! You are a great story teller.
A complete thought in just over a minute. Nice little gem. I had to press "*PLAY*" twice. . . still hungry after the first time through.
Nice refreshing sound.
That's really pretty Jane! It draws a person in.
