You're getting a lot of warmth and depth out of that equipment in these tracks. Makes The Transition - you know what I mean, I expect - seem more possible. I thank you for that!

Its a song that was inspired by a dream I had. In fact.. it was the soundtrack to the dream. The ending is purposely left with a feeling of being not finished, as I can't remember how the dream ended.
I hope you all like it :)

@another cultural landslide, @kirklynch, @Sister Savage: Anthem indeed, and we wore our U2 influences proudly on our sleeves. This song was written about a childhood friend who commited suicide (apparently a few hours after seeing us play at the local pub). I did me "Edge" thing (yeah, Kirk, I was "Scenic Overlook") - I tuned my guitar something like AAEAAE, don't remember exactly, and yeah, that timed delay, that was great stuff :)
Started off with me just goofing around with Battery and a couple of other NI things (which are new to me) and grew into this...
It may still have places to go.
Yesterday I bought a very lovely sample set from Soniccouture called [The Skiddaw Stones](http://www.soniccouture.com/en/products/p4-the-skiddaw-stones/).
two hour tune. Written and recorded yesterday, edited and mixed today. I might as well get it uploaded now because I'll be spending the next two weeks preparing to move across the country.

I hereby name this the "bridge to nowhere" mix since it was the musical content of the bridge that I spent the most time on.
If you've heard the song before, I've provided a shortcut video that plays the bridge from last night's version vs. tonight…
I made this simple song to try out playing an acoustic guitar with an ebow. It works, but it's quite quiet. The movement of the fingers on the fretboard is louder than the sounds. I didn't use any effects on the guitar tracks.
