Literally hot off the press, this is how my life is going right now.
(c)2012 T.A.Beckett
I used to work in an office.
White collar job just the same.
Order this and order that.
Put the Devil to shame.
Then one day the boss man
Asked me to change…
This is another song originally written in a country music vein, but through the 12 step process it's been reformed. The lyrics came from a night at a bar where I noticed a young woman who was trying too hard to have fun. She looked much too…
This song comes from comparing my behavior to that of my children. And I have found out that history does indeed repeat itself.
Thanks for stopping by to listen. I'll post the lyrics as soon as I find them.

Yeah I feel ya! A great compilation of sounds. Diggin' your breakdown. Very interesting and original techniques being employed here! Groovy as hell! Rock on!
I once worked for a retail company in the computer industry. One of my fellow buyers took a job at another company, then returned six months later as a salesman for that company. This is a song of how he might have felt returning to the city…
That guitar really caught me. I like the break into acoustic too.
Quote: *"I wrote this song some time ago with much more of a country feel to it. Thanks to the 12 step process I'm better now,"*
I feel your pain, I grew up with Country Music. After years of professional help, I'm almost healed.

Sam did a great job on this song. Both the lead and backing vocals are hers. The song could use a little editing, but I thought you'd all like to hear it anyway.
Enjoy.

As you can see, I sometimes duplicate titles with different lyrics and musical styles. This one just popped into my head one day and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down.
Enjoy.

This is our little bundle of joy now grown up to be 10 years old. She took up the flute this year at school and this is her first effort in front of my microphone.
She decided on the flute after watching some vids of Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull…
I completely understand your reaction. My youngest has three favorite songs of mine we used to sing together. She's all of 14 and too grown up to admit it, but she still loves the songs. And I still smile thinking about it.
Nice work on the effects. Tell Nina she plays very well for her age. And the more she plays the more she'll enjoy it and the more others will enjoy hearing her play.
Big regards.

I just listened to your demos, and I think they sound fine as they are. The dance music didn't make me head for the fallout shelter, and this song is actually very nice. I don't think you did a bad job on them at all.

2010 RPM Challenge Track. Lyrics below:
Burning down the wire
And you're out of time
Ripping through the ties
that you try to knot
Telling me "go!"
Telling me "go!"
Is what you want
And you're running out
You're feeling used…
I've been listening to your entire album, and I like Telltale, and the first five songs, and this one, most of all. You have an interesting style. I'm not sure about some of your vocal affects, but the songs are good overall.

I've listened to your entire album, and I enjoyed it a great deal. Made me envious that I can't pluck the strings like you can, but that's my cross to bear. Well done.

You and I have a lot in common. Our lyrics are the strongest part of our music and we get the most from our vocal talents. I enjoyed listening to your album and going around the world with your music. Well done.

I wrote it for a friend of a friend. It was originally about a woman, but although I liked the music a lot, the words didn't quite satisfy me. On a whim, I changed a pronoun here and there, and the song became a story.

Woo... like this one a lot, straight from the off. There's some fab guitar going on. Love the solo.

Great song, and I love the feel to this... LG
Love those guitars and that groove.
Love the guitars and arrangement. Big and inventive sounds. And some mean leads in the instrumental.
I can relate. In fact I can relate RIGHT NOW.
Sweetness. I hope she loved it. :)
Like how this one skips along. And I love the sentiments :)
Great piano line! w;-)

I like the imagery of the lyrics. You paint an interesting picture. The piano work was first rate, too. The guitar solo was very good as well. ER
Another nice job! Your voice fits well with the accoustic guitar. And the backing vocals add icing to the cake. ER
Nice harmonies! My blues have just been chased away. ER
Singing along with you on this. I feel better already. ER

I have enjoyed listening to your music. It is interesting and relaxing. Several, like this one, have a good beat. ER
I like the story on this. I think the story could apply to a woman as easily as a man. Either way, this is a nice song. ER
And you know it's hopeless only when the horse leaves you alone in the barn. I like your lyrics. They have quite a bit of insight. ER
Very nice song. Well played. ER
Like the storytelling on this one. ER
I liked the vocals and the atmosphere of this song most of all. ER
Your songs have a hypnotic quality to them. The vocals on this reflect that more than most. ER
Enjoyed your songs very much. I just might download a few so I can listen on my mp3 player, if that's okay with you. ER
Another bright and bouncy melody. And I see myself the same way. ER
Like this one, too. Bouncy beat and nice guitar work. Sing that scat!! Found myself singing along. Nice one. ER
